Texas all year dominated the CFB power ratings but suddenly is a six point dog? That's an overreaction to Ohio State's dominant wins. I don't know if playing in Dallas helps Texas so I won't say this is a true home dog. But Texas dominated Clemson early and showed resilience in beating Arizona State after blowing a big lead. If they can figure out how to play a second half, they're unstoppable. I have no real knocks on Ohio State whose only two losses were by a combine four points but this is a lot of value in what could be a close game.
(Weird situation at Ohio State where idiot fans were ready to can Day only a couple of weeks ago. They actually do seem care more about beating Michigan than winning the national title. Ohio State is the best team and program in the country now even if their own fans can't see it. Still, six points is a lot in game between two teams whose power ratings are close to even.)

Honestly, yes. For decades many of us Ohio State fans aren't happy with a National Championship if we don't beat Michigan.
It really is one of the best and grittiest rivalries in sports. Not to say we need to completely overhaul our program. But, without the gold pants that Natty doesn't mean nearly as much.

I don’t think any of the teams in the semi’s are the top 4 teams. ND is weak, Franklin chokes in big games, all Tex has is a good off line, and Ohio st has no QB

Ohio St is not in Top 4 what you smoking man..
Yes there QB is not a top pick but they got the Best WR and a top 10 Running Back and guys in the trenches that is all they need
If Manning transfers to Ohio St next year they will win every game by 21
ND and Penn St ok they are lower 6-10

I'm thinking Texas ML at the half. And not because of the AZ ST game. Last eight Texas games they had an equal or bigger lead at the half compared to final score difference. Didn't go back any futher than last eight games.
Believe all four remaining teams benefited from their last opponent being off for 4 weeks and coming out flat.

Excellent write up...I agree with the pick...I also think Texas could win outright...GL! Hook em' Horns!

average QB for the Bucks for sure.….but not only the most talented offensive skill position players in the nation, but the most skilled team overall…..only Ryan Days coaching ineptitude can stop them from winning the title. And that fact is always a strong possibility

Texas ave offense score last 4 away games 15 / 16 pure pppg...and this is a game away from their home field no matter how you slice it Thats not good vs OSU 14 pppg last 4 and 7 pppg last 3 away

anyone can get a covers account and post things. saying tOSU and NDame arent top 4 is crazy. they are 1 & 2 right now.
PSU isnt top 4 IMO. Top 5. Top 6 definitely. The loss to Oregon kinda showed the Ducks are a small step above them. Franklin seems to be shedding his "choking in big games" label. We'll see how things go from here for him
I dont think Texas is quite top 4? They have one of the worst kickers in CFB and Quinn is inconsistent and kills his team at the most inappropriate times while other times looks like one of the best in CFB. It's frustrating as a fan but they wouldnt be here without him. It's debatable but top 6 for sure.
I'd say tOSU NDame Oregon Georgia (with Beck. without him they are probably still top 10 but not as good) PSU Texas
