Thoughts on da game:
8.5 points seems like a lot against a ND team that has been a covering machine all season. My main concern for ND is how the hell are they going to score? OSU hasn’t given up more than 17 points all season. The 2 games that went over 17 points were against Oregon who have way more talent offensively imo. On paper ND is a top ten offense, but what happens when you take away their run? Riley throws for 174 yards a game. When ND falls behind and can’t rely on the run, what’s going to happen? ND can stay in it by creating turnovers and slowing the game down but OSU limited mistakes against 3 straight defense elite teams and I like the offense being this battle tested going into the game. OSU had a sloppy game vs TX with 9 penalties and still won by 2 touchdowns. ND loves to play man coverage but with 3 NFL receivers and Henderson as a threat catching the ball at RB this is not a good matchup. I have my plays tied into OSU to just win but for me it would be OSU or pass.
