Championship Week

How are we already at this point in this season. Conference Championship week is here .. let’s start talking early leans and plays locked in. 

Utah vs Usc -2.5 67

i lean Usc here.. I think Caleb Williams is on a mission here and can Utah slay the dragon twice in one season? I’m leaning playing Usc under a Fg here, but not gonna pull just yet. Utah scares me. Well coached, and physical.. 

Kansas St vs Tcu -2.5 61

I’m on the over here. Locked this in at 61 and staying away from side. I see both teams getting up and down the field here. I think we see a 38-34 type game. 

Lsu +17.5 vs Georgia

Lsu laid an egg this week against A/M, and now everyone gonna bang Uga hard here I feel. Brian Kelly will have Lsu ready to go and I’m not seeing Georgia playing dominate football either. They’re winning, but gimme BK and 17.5. Didn’t lock yet, but if and when I do, it’ll be LSU. 

Unc vs Clem -8 61.5 

Gimme the over in this one as well. That’s all.. just the over. 

Purdue vs Mich -16.5 51.5 

no play here yet.. lean Michigan but not loving this game. I can’t play Purdue here though. It’s Purdue.. cmon. See how week shakes out for this game.

USC the better team even on a neutral field. Not sure about the intangibles.  But all else equal they should be -4.5

Like the USC pick...I will probably be against you on LSU...That TAMU loss was not an anomaly...They are a good but not great team...Boute the WR is great but not elite...Daniels was injured during the game, and he can be contained...GA plays its best in these situations...Either GA or Michigan are best and most complete teams in college football this season...With a month to prepare and recover, I think Kirby Smart will let the offense score...I cap this game at GA -21 plus...Good Luck on your other picks...

Kansas State beating TCU is a given. TCU loses, Ohio State gets into the playoff. I think they want another OSU/Michigan game. Would be great!

What we've seen all year is 2 things: UGA plays both down to a lesser opponent but they also get up for the big opponents. Sloppy games vs Mizzou, Kent St, and Kentucky... complete domination against Oregon and Tennessee. When the lights are bright, all those 5* recruits start playing like it...

Yeah they might, who knows? Enjoy, it just shows how you don't know how to act when you finally beat Ohio State. You guys are all a joke! It's been since 2000 you finally beat us in Columbus. I guess I would be crowing as well after 22 years of finally winning on the others home teams turf. LOL....enjoy

 No doubt! Finally holding up our end of the stick... it's always lopsided one way or another. Past 45 years it's something like 24-21 even with how dominant OSU has been over 20 years as you mentioned. Also get off your high horse with the "don't know how to act" crap.. might want to check YOUR OWN post history when speaking of Michigan.

Congrats on the win. It would be great to see have both of them meet again in the CFP. Why not right? We've seen the SEC put both Bama in GA in for two years in a row. Time for the Big Ten to represent. :)

 No way. For the record I felt the same even if we would have lost the game on a last second FG & not having Corum. You want in, you win the game. The rivalry is too good, don’t want to water it down with a “well the game doesn’t matter that much.” 

Get boat raced on your home field, why do they deserve a shot to meet up in the National championship game on a neutral field? Saying this even though I’d still rate OSU #3 and make this line only UM -3 on neutral field. 

I get what you're saying, I can see this point if it was an unranked team, and they smacked our asses. This was #2 vs #3. REGARDLESS, it's one loss. OSU is still one of the top 4 best teams in CFB. If they have to meet up again in the CFP, that's how it goes. I know it's nice to have THEE GAME, but no game is bigger than if it's in the CFP. Just my thoughts. We shall see?

Closing lines in the first meeting with USC @ Utah was Utah -3.5 with an O/U of 65.5

Game ended 43-42 Utah

Now the line opens USC -3.5 and O/U 67 on a neutral field.  

USC won't have Dye this time around who accounted for 120 total yards. Wonder if that will balance out Utah not having the home field.

Michigan dominated Ohio St. I think the physicality of these 2 teams is the difference. Both teams have a lot of talent (obviously) and it comes down to the last 2 years, Michigan has been the more physical team on both sides of the ball. I don’t know if that’s Ryan Day or just the kids he’s recruiting, but I’ve walked out of the last 2 games with no doubt in my mind who the more physical team was. Either way, great rivalry, and a lot at stake. Michigan moves on. We will see what happens with the Buckeyes. 

I talk about physicality and I think Utah will out physical Usc. Utah is physical! Always has been under Wittingham. I just think Caleb is on a mission here, but Utah scares me enough to not have a play yet.

gotta look at these other games as well and post some thoughts. Last week of Games until bowl season. Let’s enjoy the chat and hopefully heighten the stack this week! 

With Utah being -3 on their home field, the line should be a pickem on a neutral field. What has changed since that game? The Caleb Williams Heisman hype is all I can think of. Plus how many people have watched Utah lately compared to USC, who has played two BIG games in a row (UCLA, ND) and now has to play a third one.

 Def hard to have to get up 3 weeks straight and play at your highest level. Utah scares me and Utah just might be the death of USC this season. Gonna dive a little deeper into this game this week. Might be a no play and a sit back to enjoy it game. But it’s only Monday

USC is Ice cream in July.. SOFT!! Utah continues to expose them with physical department. Even if USC goes onto win this game, they will get punished by Georgia.
