I see a lot of people liking the underdog Beavers and the points. I get it as Oregon has disappointed so far. One thing to consider is that Boise is underrated and should be ranked. Boise has some talented skill players and have former NFL coach Dirk Koetter as the offensive co. Boise's entire season and potential to make the 12-team playoff was all on the line. They were going to be focused, and it was going to be difficult for Oregon with the new players on offense to match that intensity. The line closed at -17.5. This week, Oregon is -16 at most shops. I feel like the line value this week is with Oregon. Oregon State has a new QB and coach and lost a lot in the transfer portal. I know the Beavers have impressed so far, especially last week against a sorry San Diego State team. They have shown so far to have a strong running game and don't ask the new QB to do that much. I am not so sure that Oregon State right now is as good as Boise was in their spot last week. Oregon is capable of putting it together if they play up to their potential and limit the penalties and turnovers.
