Now I won my &#x2B;7 bet and lost my ML bet &#x2B;230. Where Clemson won.Clemson Dline won the whole game. Clemson offense won the whole game.Watson best player on fieldWhere Clemson lostSpecial teams but I blame that more on coaching. Out coached .Saban excellent call on the onside kick, his team was gonna lose and he had to change the momentum, in a tie game in the 4th q.Clemson had 3 broken plays on defense and a kickoff return that gave 28 pts to Alabama.  Think about this for a minute, how do you not have anyone sticking guys on 3 plays, Not a soul around, lets just give one of the best teams in the country in the championship game 21 pts and still they almost won.  Blame that 2 on coaching, Dabo Sweeny puts together all this talent to lose to inferior team.

Well peanuts my take is when Clemson had the ball at midfield and was up 24-21 I said they have to get a TD and when they didn&#x27;t yikes. You can&#x27;t let a Nick Saban team hang around

True but they were still in position to win.  Almost all of Alabama&#x27;s tds were broken plays or a kick off return, that&#x27;s extremely lucky and terrible coaching by Clem.  Even the one good pass Coker made was more of a punt throw that the guy made a nice catch on, set up a fg for Alabama, the best play Coker made the whole game was getting the first down on the 3rd down bootleg late in the game, Imagine if they only kick fg there, Clem moved right down the field and scored, would be going for 2 and we would of had OT.

The game was about even,but the inside kick and kick off return was the difference.Clemson had a great team,but just came up a lil short..The thought that Watson has even one year of eligibility is scary.I was pulling hard for Clemson.I guarantee u Dabo wins a Natty in next few YRS.

And last but not least the BS way the first half ended, Clemson could of had one more play to get closer or get lucky and score, go into half with lead rather then tied, that was huge, clock did some funny things at the end of the first half.

I won&#x27;t go as far as to say that Clemson was the better team. They lost, fair and square. The onsides kick and the kickoff return TD are what got them beat. Special teams were the difference, and yes, Saben is a better coach than Dabo. However, Alabama and their supposedly all time great D got steamrolled for 550 yards of offense. The Tide was outgained on the ground and through the air. Henry was held to 4.4 yards per carry, even with the 50 yard Td run. Alabama played almost mistake free, no turnovers and only 2 penalties yet they still needed the surprise onsides and the kickoff return TD to win. &#xD;&#xA;It is worth noting that NO SEC team came within 100 yards of what Clemson did tonight against Alabama this year. Only Ole Miss hit he 400 yard mark of total offense against them this year. The Tigers ripped through what was supposed to be an all time great Defense and it took a near perfect game from Alabama to secure the Championship. &#xD;&#xA;Clemson wasn&#x27;t the better team tonight, but after this game...and it really was a fantastic game...even Alabama knows that the best they played this year was not within the SEC.

In my opinion this was the best team Alabama had to beat to win a National Championship, and I think they won it because of the onside kick and the 95 yard kickoff return.  The onside kick was luck, the kick return was skill, but I think Clemson was kind of dejected around that time and that is why they let up the kickoff return after the onside kick.  That&#x27;s 14 points right there that Alabama was lucky to get.  If there was anyone in the area of where that kick came down for Clemson and they caught it, I think this might have been a different game.

I think they won it because of the onside kick and the 95 yard kickoff return.Also called special teams. An integral and important part of the game. Not being competent in this aspect of the game usually translates to a loss and should be confused with bad luck.Did Clemson not get into the Oklahoma game because of a fake punt? If you live by the sword you die by it.Clemson was kind of dejected around that time and that is why they let up the kickoff return after the onside kick.Yep...Special Teams, Clemson needs to familiarize themselves with it in the off season - they will have plenty of time.

The better team wins the game - alwaysThe game includes great coaching, refs and breaks.  If you play well, and make the coaching moves you need, you will win.Clemson got out-coached in the 4th quarter.  Bama was the better TEAM

Clemson played with much more motivation and played their best game.

Alabama did not play their best game.

Alabama had more lucky plays (high risk but high gain) and thus won the game.

I think the two times were even and each would win half the time if they played 10 games.

I won $400 on Alabama on a moneyline bet.

Looking back on that game after watching a second time......I just get the feeling people should have known Watson could have shined against that bama D..... smh got lucky on back door with Clemmy but should have went larger
