BOWL SEASON: 7-7-1 ATS (2-1-1 BIG PLAY)
Frustrating day at least for me as neither OVER hit I have to say Alabama impressed without Menchie but I think Georgia will be this year's champ. Earlier bowls were a bit challenging to handicap so i decided to lay off. But I do like the Rose Bowl:
UTAH (+4.5) BIG PLAY!!!: I was able to get the .5 point on the 4 which is a number i really like here for Utah. I know i've been saying all bowl season how terrible the Pac 12 is and I still mean that. But Ohio State is coming into the game without two of their top receivers, an NFL caliber offensive lineman, and the same for a defensive lineman. I understand that they are loaded and of course they are, they are Ohio State. But I think Utah is having a pretty special season and they will be not disappointed to be here, but elated. That will show in their style of play and if they don't outright win this game, they will come very close. That's why the number is so enticing. Hate going against the Buckeyes but I'm laying the season that the Utes show up for this game.
OVER 58 (BAYLOR/MISS): Baylor has had a great year behind a pretty solid defense. Ole Miss has enjoyed the Lane Kiffin era with Matt Corral and sprung some solid upsets though they probably could have used a bit more consistency and been even higher regarded. Either way, both these teams will be able to get up and down the field and score, pretty much at will. The game is going to be entertaining and I am not confident enough in either side in a toss up game.
