Big Ten, as of end of July;
--Indiana, Minnesota, Rutgers, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, all over 90% vaxed.
--Maryland and Purdue about 90% vaxed.
--Wisconsin 85% vaxed.
--Penn State "well above 70%" Franklin working on it.
--Beilima at Illinois says; "expects to be 100% by fall camp" no number given
--Ohio State's Ryan Day says; "majority are vaccinated", "we are getting close" "in the end hopefully we get close to 100%" no number given
--Iowa not quite at 70% at end of July.
--Nebraska's Scott Frost "not comfortable" with Husker vaccination rate, would not give a number.
The unvaccinated are the ones filling up the hospitals 
Yea ok go check the hospitals, there is no overflow of patients the problem is the hospitals are understaffed because half the staffs are resigning instead of getting forced to get the jab. So the media saying hospitals overflowing which is bs only some loser who listens to cnn or msnbc would believe that nonsense your spewing.
I've watched this closely (vaxed getting covid)
#1; Vaccinated people are far less likely to get tested for COVID. The Kentucky study that the CDC put out says just that.
#2. Overseas, Iceland has about 85% of adults vaccinated (16 and older) 69% of total population. About 60% of their positive cases are vaccinated people. (Fact checkers keep trying to debunk this info, IT IS WHAT IT IS.) www.covid.is/data Look at the bar graph with cases broke down. Why can't the U.S. have this data????
#3. Here in the U.S. Massachusetts has recorded just over 22% of their cases are from vaccinated. They are 65% vaccinated. Oregon says they currently see just over 14% positives are vaccinated. They are 57.4% vaccinated. These are the only two states I saw giving out numbers for this on a daily/weekly basis, not that garbage of 99% are unvaxed using data back to January 1.
So I'm going to say many vaccinated who are infected don't get tested for COVID because, yes, the vaccines work. Their symptoms are mild, a lot of time asymptomatic. Taking a conserative approach would say if population was 75% vaxed, as are most CFB teams, about 25% of the vaccinated would represent a positive test. So for every three unvaxed testing positive one vaxed would test positive.
BUT GOOD NEWS COLLEGE FOOTBALL FANS!!!!!! We're not going to follow the science!!! We're not going to test the vaccinated!!! They can wander around fully infected spreading covid, no problem. Only the unvaccinated will be tested weekly. Only the unvaxed will be wearing masks indoors---even though the CDC says the vaccinated should be masking up too. Only if a vaccinated individual has had close contact to those testing positive (will only be the unvaxed) will they get tested, maybe. And if the vaccinated test positive, IT'S THE UNVAXED WHO GET THE BLAME!! GET IT???
So if your team is 100% vaxed, NO PROBLEM!!! Except their on the field performance may drop when some are infected. Consider that.
I see many a 18-20 yr old getting scratchy throats, slight headache, a little run down. Think they will run right to coach and say I need to be tested? What would be the result if he starts a chain reaction where many teammates also test postive?? THEY FORFEIT THEIR GAME!!! WHAT A GREAT REWARD!!!
You can see my cynical feelings on this matter. I'm not ant-vax. They work, it's proven. They help lessen getting infected, they don't PREVENT IT.
These rules appear to be more designed to punish/force the unvaxed rather than protect the players and staff.
I see little cancellations this yr based on these rules.
Couple of updates;
Scott Frost of Nebraska says he feels much better with Husker vaccination rate. Says he will not give the number but expects a University spokesman to do so in the near future.
Bielima of Illinois reports all but three players are vaxed. Those three not on two-deep.
Day of Ohio State reports all but about 10 players vaccinated.
I know Michigan, Michigan St, and Indiana require 100% student vacination. Not sure on the rest.

The Big10 is leaving it to each school how they test, i.e. Ohio St will test unvaxed twice a week. Others may do it different.
From what I read the SEC says if your team is 85% vaxed, no testing needed, for anyone it seems. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! Only if someone comes down sick does it appear they test.
The ACC says if a team is below 85% vaxed they (the unvaxed) get tested 3 times a week, for teams over 85% the unvaxed get tested once a week.
Big12; All I see is testing will be done with unvaxed players.
PAC12; They spell it out;
------Fully vaccinated (to COVID-19) individuals:
o No surveillance testing required (except as indicated in the Sustained Increased
Transmission section below).
o No quarantine required after exposure to an individual with COVID-19 necessary for
asymptomatic individuals.
o Mask must be worn after exposure to an individual with COVID-19 for 14 days or until anegative PCR test on day 3-5 following exposure
------------• Unvaccinated individuals:
o Testing and quarantine upon return to campus following non-team related travel.
Regular surveillance testing, minimum of one molecular PCR test per week (or 3 times a
week antigen testing on non-consecutive days).
o Quarantine for the locally required period of time following high-risk COVID-19 exposure.
o Mask while indoors.
• Team vaccination rates: Mitigation guidance for teams regarding masking, travel protocols, and
indoor facility use may be modified if 85% of team is vaccinated.
MAC; Testing for the unvaxed similar to last season's protocals
it's not mandatory for anyone to get vaccine. they haven't tied anyone down and given them vaccine to my knowledge (maybe they have with mental patients or something like that). ......it is mandatory though if you want to play football at some of these schools.
my mom is in the hospital and her ward had a covid death outbreak 2 weeks before she went in for an extended stay... i live in a progressive/liberal canadian province and they DO NOT ASK visitors if you've been vaccinated. but that's a government-monopoly hospital, not a health club or restaurant. similar to school. if govt goes for comprehensive vaccine program for children, i am fairly confident that they can't bar your kid from school for not being vaccinated.....
i also find the NFL players anti-vaccine campaign seems to be over-represented by "i scored 8 on the wonderlic test" types.
whereas it seems like the most intelligent people i know or are aware of seem to consider getting the vaccine right up there with choosing a drink size at SBUX in terms of life decision.

So that was their justification.
IMO, if they really just followed the science all althetes should be tested once a week, unvaxed could be 3 times a week. That would cover everybody, again just my opinion. That "carrot" that the vaxed not needed to be tested would have worked before Delta, not now.

Georgia, like most of the South, has the highest rates right now. Would expect more Southern teams with issues in the near future.
