TODAY. i really dislike how definitions change, or used loosely when definitions are specific. Ive heard the phrase "trap game" thrown around this site to mean a game where the line looks too good so watch out. That is not the definition of a trap game. The true definition is unfolding in front of our eyes. Auburn plays Bama next week. They have had no interest or ostensible planning for the tiny foe they are facing today in ULM. Look at what is happening to a 38 point favorite.
The definition of a trap game is a game in which a stronger team faces a seemingly weak team the week before facing a formidable opponent. I.E. focus of the team is on the next week strong opponent and expectation of an easy win over the current opponent. What do you think will be said in the halftime locker room at Auburn. Bet coach will mention Alabama???
