Hell no.......their D is like a sieve.......and their D coordinator needs to go back and coach high school.

Even if they win out they will not pass Bama assuming Bama wins out.......and we will have a rematch in the BCS title game of Tigers and Bama........which I believe Tigers will win again.....

I have stated my opinion on this numerous times already and the discussion becomes very pointless because no one really knows.  So I will only say it one more time in here.

My opinion is that if Stanford loses and OU wins out than OU has a very good chance.

The reason is based on my opinion that they will not want to see a rematch with Bama and LSU.  What happens in this scenario if Bama wins on a neutral site but lost to LSU earlier at home.  Yet Bama still gets the trophy.

It is also based on the belief that if OU wins out that means they beat two more currently ranked BCS teams including the #2.

I think it is a very real possibility.

JW...  If OU/LSU wins out and Stanford loses, I think voters/writers will put OU ahead of Bama.  I think they will say Bama got their shot at LSU and now let OU get theirs, which I agree with.  Beating a #2 ranked team that late in yr is going to be a huge reason.  Bama should still be ahead in computer rankings but not in Harris/USA, IMO.

It's not about who, and it's not about voters... The BCS ranking system is based off computers. If Bama wins out, there isn't a team out there that can pass them. Auburn is currently ranked...  That is, IF Stanford and OK st lose...

No idea, maybe if Stanford loses to Oregon ( definitely a possibility ), it's a bit hard for me to see LSU lose to Arkansas at Baton Rouge.

Ummmm... The computer is 1/3 of BCS, coaches (USA Today) and writers (Harris) are 2/3!

: Does Oklahoma have a shot at the BCS Title Game if they win out?

slim to none.....only slim because computers somehow have the Big 12 as toughest conference

Stanford and Bama have to lose

or ...MAYBE.....Bama barely beats Miss St and Auburn...
AND... Texas Tech almost beats OSU....and wins @ Mizzou and @ Baylor....(making that UGLY home loss look a little better)
*Tree would still have to lose...Sooners would have to destroy Baylor....and win @ Okie St by nice margin

only teams with a real shot besides LSU...OSU.....and Tree
are Bama and Ark (if they win out)

Ducks not really because computers hate the PAC 12

Boise only if perfect storm (destroy TCU + everybody loses)....> a 1 loss SEC or Big 12 goes 1st
It is better to be feared - than to be loved.

: Does Oklahoma have a shot at the BCS Title Game if they win out?

slim to none.....only slim because computers somehow have the Big 12 as toughest conference

Stanford and Bama have to lose

C10...  Curious as to why OU has really good chance of beating OSU?  Broyles is out and OSU will have extra wk to prep for this game.

I can answer that.....it's as much psychological as it is physical......The Sooners have always had better talent.....I think the Aggies have won 1 game in the last 30 years......Sooners just have their number.....it's as simple as that.....always have.....

The loss of Broyles is not that significant.....Reynolds, Stills are still great receivers....Broyles and Reynolds are different in that Broyles was more of a slot rec and wide-out whereas Reynolds is a wide-out....But Reynolds makes spectacular catches on a regular basis.....

    Sooners will handle the Aggies..........again...

What the hell are you talking about joewashington? Oklahoma does not play the Aggies, they played the Aggies last week.

Also, losing All American WR w/ most receptions ever and second-most yds is hardly insignificant.  He had more recep than Stills/Reynolds combine.  He also was B12 leading punt returner.
