Drew Allar
saw him shaking his head in disgust when nd got a first down near end of game then he comes in and is pure azz. slow throwing mechanics poor decisions only passes that look decent were well drawn up plays where tight end is wide open.

Legitimately pounding the ball down ND’s throats and up 10-0. No disrespect to ND but you almost have to try to blow that game that way it was playing out.
James Franklin and Drew Allar are indefensible, but if you pay attention to Big10/Penn St football then you knew this pre-game too. I don’t understand how Franklin still coaches D1 football at a major program

@Polar_Bear
Yes. Agree.
Penn State were in the driver's seat at one point in that game but Notre Dame did not go away and were there for the opportunistic and decisive turnover.

If they didn't drop that TD on the 1st drive I don't think they would have lost the game. And everyone would be blaming Riley Leonard for throwing that pick

I liked the first call on the run they got it out to around the 30 yard line. In that situation you have to ask your QB to make the right decision. He had time was not under pressure and threw back across the field. He had the chance to use his legs which he does quite well in certain scenarios. He made the wrong decision and cost his team. Can't blame coaching on that one.
Notre Dame is there for a reason minus the Northern Illinois fluke. They found a rhythm after that loss and find ways to win in close games. With time left and two timeouts at the 30 yard line no way I would sit on the ball. Penn State's defense minus a couple drives and one cornerback slip lived up to their reputation. Notre Dame has a great defense too. There is nothing overly impressive about their QB. He is on a great team and they find ways to win. Penn State handed them a second chance late. Curious about lines for either Texas or Ohio State.

Absolute piece of shit that kid is, has been all year. Had the better football team with him and found a way to give the game away. Historic running game, best tight end in the nation, dominating offensive line and great defence but an absolute moron at quarterback. And it’s zero to do with coaches, you have to be able to trust your qb to eat the ball or throw it away in that situation, only an idiot savant tries to force the ball in that situation and he had all kinds of time it was completely unforced. Absolute garbage quarterback with the intellect of a fucking light bulb. The lesser team won the game thanks to a completely incompetent imbecile of a quarterback.
he was hit as he threw.......![]()

Dude was a bum all night….coaching didn’t prepare him for success. Was there a single reception by a WR?
And wow he’s coming back next year…..
Buy a sick Freshman/Sophmore recruit to challenge at the QB position. Those throws were pathetic…
1-15 vs Top5 opponents is unbelievable….why is JF not fired yet?
