Ducks -24?

Question

I realize the advantage that Oregon has playing at home but this seems to be a large number against a in conference squad that is far from the likes of UCLA or Washington State. Any insight for backing the ducks here?

Cal may have more tricks up their sleeve to slow down the game.

Cal needs to be able to run the ball............take away the game vs Presby. & their rushing attack is just avg.

If they can run a bit then Maynard may be able to hurt them with Allen & Jones.........I'm sure they'll get some regardless but it would help. Since everyone wants to keep UO's offense off the field by running the ball, & UO knows that, it may be a case of setting up the run by burning UO with some shots to the two stud WR's early. But if that doesn't work...............good-nite Cal.

Cal had given up a ton of points this year to teams who are middle of the road at best. Oregon is too much for them to handle. On the road Cal has given up 31 and 33 points to UW and Colorado who arent even in the same league as oregon. Oregon drops 50+ and covers the spread mid-way through the 3rd. Dont talk yourself into the wrong play.

i think its safe just to take over, gonna be a close game for the first half, and then oregon will eventually pull away at the end,  cal won t be able to keep up, oregon wins 49-27
