Ducks vs Beavers

Question

Come on people! Does anyone have an opinion on this game? This has the potential to be one of the best games of the year. The Beavers at home playing the number one team in the country, could it happen? Can history repeat itself? The 1967 Beavers hosted USC the number one team in the nation at the time and the Beavers pulled off the upset. That team earned the name"Giant Slayers" for their monumental victory. If the Beavers come out strong with a good passing attack I look for the upset. They are also going to get a big push from the crowd that will be pumped up from the boys on "Gameday" A little sweet revenge from being knocked out of the Rose Bowl two years ago is added motivation.

I&#x27;ll pass on this one, but I will watch it just for fun. IF i had a gun to my head I would probably take the points w/ OSU at home. I don&#x27;t have an allegiance to either team but would like the Ducks to win as they will make the title game with a W.

This game is too hard to call ATS in my opinion. Very early this season I had some huge 10-team teasers going with the last leg being Tennessee +20 with the tease (game was delayed due to lightning). The Ducks came out of the delay and crushed the Vols in the 2nd half and my winnings evaporated.

Ducks are only 6-4-1 ATS . . . can never count them out but we've also seen a team that sometimes only shows up for 1/2 the game.

I'll watch for the entertainment value but won't bet either side to save my supply of Rolaids.

I took Oregon -16..........beavs may show some spunk early &amp; keep it close but I believe the Ducks know they&#x27;re so close they can taste it.............ducks pull away in the 2nd hf

I am hoping Oregon State wins but doubt it.

The best the Beavers can do is give the Ducks a scare but one play that definately interests me is

Oregon State +10 1st Half

Oregon does not give a shit at the moment as they know they are good. They turn up half asleep in the first half then put the game away in the second half.

Oregon Wins this by 28&#x2B;I know Oregon St. has played Oregon close in the past but this is a different year. This game doesn&#x27;t mean much to Oregon St. except pride. Oregon St. lost 31-14 @ home to Washington St. who is awful. And just last week they got shut out 38-0 at Stanford. I&#x27;m fading this Oregon St. team. It&#x27;s a must win for Oregon.

I like Oregon here. Everything is on the line, they're definitely going to try to blow this Oregon St. team out. Oregon St. got shut out 38-0 on the road last game at Stanford. And lost at home 31-14 to Washington State lolol. This Oregon St. team is too inconsistent. You can count on Oregon showing up.

Pretty sure it matters to the Beavers a little.

2 things: Pride, and the fact taht 1 more win makes them bowl elgible.

However, they are simply outgunned.

1967?????????? Uh no cell phones, no internet, um Vietnam War was ragin. M.L. King and Bobby Kennedy will die shortly. The Beavers upset mighty Troy. Well I remember the Trojans upsetting no. 1 ND with Mike Garrett a few years earlier. This is the age of technology, run and gun. no upset here. My feeling is that Ducks go on to play for the BCS championship!!
