Why not take the points and kick the field goal on 4 and3 with a backup quarterback. I can see Riley Leonard was in there but thought that was a bone head decision

Seems like there has been more terrible coaching decisions this season than normal.
Miami not taking a knee, Norte Dame playing with 10 defenders last two plays against OSU, and lots of these 4th down calls instead of taking the easy 3.
I think it was James Madison the other day. They had the ball at their own one or two yard line. They run a play out of the shotgun and hand it off to the running back, who is six yards deep in the end zone. He gets tackled for a safety.

Boneheaded decision by FSU coach early in the game. Youre a 2 TD fav against a team w a backup qb that had zero going for them offensively. He goes for it on 4th from his own 40. Boom 3 free points for Duke.
Same thing w Jax on TNF. They were up 2 scores on a saints team that could do absolutely nothing on offense and instead of pinning them deep they go for it on 4th and 3 i think it was near midfield. They gave the saints a short field and they scored and then its a 1 score game. Analytics might say go for it based on probability but you have to consider game flow as well, something that the analytics cant.

yep once the old fuckers get the big contract and know it’ll cost many more millions to buy it out if they get fired prob at that moment wants to get fired so can look forward to retirement lol
coaches make too much money they can take stupid chances and get fired because they have golden parachutes. Absolutely the dumbest shit I have seen in football today. Coaches just not wanting to win.
