I rarely do parlays or teasers, but I have had a good last few weeks and am wanting to play this week safer than normal, but still have some action on the games.
Honest opinions on the parlay below for some extra Christmas cash. Again, this is playing much safer than normal:
Buffalo -8.5 (-175)
OSU -13 (-265)
Alabama -8.5 (-240)
Clemson ML
Total of +296
$500 = $1982

People are assuming Clemson will kill ND but they could not stop ND offense and Trevor Lawrence doesn’t Play defense. I think Buff is safe. Bama should handle business but Florida can put up points. Bama would need to be up by 24 going into 4th qtr for me to feel comfortable. Saban knows that he is in playoff either way even if he loses. So he wants to come away with a victory ideally but won’t kill the team to do so. Florida will throw the kitchen sink at this game

Very good points. I will add though that the first time Clemson played ND they were also missing two starting linebackers and a starting defensive tackle. ND also lost their starting center for this game.

i was mostly playing devils advocate. In a vacuum each one of those bets if presented alone would induce me to bet the farm. Yes I understand that individual teaser bets are not possible alone as the point of a teaser is to increase risk. But as a whole the bet doesn’t interest me. I tend to stay away from teasers that still require someone to lay multiple scores unless they need to run score up for style points or opposing offense struggles. Bama doesn’t need to run score up. They don’t even need to win really. I am ok with Buffalo tho because they run the ball all the time and have no issues scoring in 4th qtr even if they are up by 14+. Ohio st might need to make a statement. If OSU wins but in so so fashion I can see arguments for a number of teams to jump them (1 loss Clemson or ND, A&M etc)
