Not nearly as big as last week, but larger than normal none the less....
Havent seen a single soul besides me on this game....which I love.
EKU is 2-1 and got smoked 35-0 @ NC St, and won by a combined score of 103-23 vs Austin Peay and Valpo. How do I think UK compares? Somwhere in the vast middle between those teams. What I do know is that EKU has already played top notch competition, so seeing "an SEC school" will not be that big of a deal....What is a big deal is playing the big brother school that didnt recruit them.....I expect good defensive effort and the offense to have some success moving the ball.....
On the other side of the ball....UK is in a pretty big trifecta sandwich spot (letdown/overlook/lookahead). Beating Mizzou ( which somehow has become a big feat) and celebrating and they have Auburn coming to town for a thursday night game Oct 15th. Seriously doubt this game registers with most of the players as they assume they will be 4-1 playing War Eagle in primetime. The UK offense doesnt do anything great...mediocre pass & run. The defense is decent, but beatable.
Bottomline: I dont think EKU gets shutout....in fact I expect them to put up 17+. Check out 5dimes right now....EKU/UK is one of only 2 games they have listed with no team totals...they are lost Game total of 55.... 43-12 is about what they think, but they aint gonna put up EKU O/U12 ...they aint dumb. Now, do I think Kentucky is gonna score more than 48? Nah. Possible, of course. Could be a 55-0 game. This is college football afterall
Cant go full bomb mode being its on the road and it is EKU.....
EKU +31.5
EKU ML +5800 small (cant resist)

Interesting game because.......... *bar fight early this year.....started by EKU C (got beat up)...a few other EKU and UK players joined in.....THEN later in a EKU dorm... check out the the most gutless sucker punch ever...EKU DL KO'ing UK bu QB Barker....Stoops has (promised) Barker will play!....
*problem with EKU here is RB DyShawn Mobley has been hurt (hamstring)....DNP last week so maybe OK here (listed as BU on depth chart).....doesn't appear they have much else on O note: he is a transfer from UK and pre-season AA
*EKU had a player killed last Sunday morning (car wreck)......
*EKU has 8/8 back from 9-4 LY....lost in 1st rd....beat Miami, O.....lost to Fla by 50 or so....but that was a Muschamp send-off game......
*best player on the field?.....EKU DE Noah Spence.....Buckeye transfer / all Big 10 seems like *Colonels also added Gator RB Adam Lane (leading rusher in bowl vs ECU LY)...........BOL this week Train..........
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

Bookie Assassin is right. Huge motivation for UK after the sucker punch/bar fight this spring. All of EKU talent is D-1 transfers so the over recruiting angle is also overstated. Weather is rain all day long and during game time. Avoid this game like the plague even if you can bet it.

totally agree-great call, you should try the first half ML...I've seen Kentucky have trouble as a favorite the last 2 years-they don't blow people out-and I see time and again local So Cal Bball schools cover against Ucla pre-conference season like Long Beach St, CS Fullerton-let me ask...who's more motivated?
