I'm not a Phil Steele kinda guy preferring to look at last year's states so I am feeling my way through week one and two. For you newbies you get five a week from me so here goes..........
Game One: VANDY -14.5 over Temple
The Owls were pretty bad last year and the Dore's have improved in Nashville.
Game Two: Boston College -14.5 over UMASS
As bad as the millisecond men were last year I am amazed the spread isn't larger in this one.
Game Three: NEBRASKA -23.5 over Florida Atlantic
Not a huge Husker fan but they will start the season on a good note and the Panthers will get their paycheck.
Game Four: FLORIDA -34.5 over Idaho
It's a long way from the Kibbiedome on Saturday in the Swamp. The Gators sucked last year and may falter again this season but they will punish the lowly Vandals in this one.
Game Five: Washington -15.5 over HAWAII
This one should be no problem for the Huskies as the Rainbows look for another horrible season.
While I am kinda ashamed of the chalk for this week, this is the best I could do

Tide: Great to hear from you bro Dunno if my pigs can get it done on the road. Funny how a little motorcycle accident can screw up a team for about five years......
808 If this year is anything like last.........I think the Huskies roll
Hawk: Saw the Miss St. QB Dak Prescott play for Haughton High School here in my town. He is the real deal for sure and a dark horse for the Heisman if the Starkville boys get over the SEC hump this year. My fear is they will take him out after the first half so I couldn't pull the trigger.

what? no pigs on your card? I really think the hogs will put a scare into Auburn.... your thoughts?
Best of luck bro
Tideman, I like Arky+ the point too.
JMW59, I like Chalk in these early weeks as well. In a bunch of these games. Nebraska is one where I am with you. Wash is prolly spot on too. Not sure about Vandy. Too early for me, and I have some close friends who love Temple this week.
Good to see you back!

Never understood the stigma of betting the favorite. Unless you bet the money line a win is a win. IT is equally as hard to pick a winning favorite as it is to pick a winning underdog.
