Really feel strongly both ways, depending on when I read something people say in defense of one, or the other. These are two flawed football teams finishing up their seasons against a school they don't like. The only reason to bet it is because it is all that is on. Doubt I fall for that, better plays coming in the next few days so I will probably just watch.
I will say the major difference maker that I see might be the team attitude at this point in the year. From what I have read and heard, Miss State team and fans see this season as a total disappointment and are hanging their heads over their fall below expectations, and concerns about their HC going forward. Ole Miss on the other hand didn't expect much of this season given their talent falloff versus previous years, but are pumped up about the potential they see going forward with their offense; especially their gifted QB who runs like a scat back. Doesn't do anything bout their porous defense, but their attitude is upbeat and positive. (Plus, it isn't like MSU has a dynamic offense to exploit the Rebels defense.)
Take that for what it is worth, if nothing to you, throw it in the trash. I have no dog in this hunt and will probably not have any money on it, so good luck to those who do bet it. I am just happy that the game looks to be competitive, we usually don't get much to watch on Thanksgiving with CFB's schedule. Wish they would move 1-2 of the Friday games up a day so we would have some choices. They move a couple of the Saturday games up to replace them. We are running out of weeks to enjoy this, the best team sport to watch on the planet.

MSU -2½ Must win for the Bulldogs, I trust the Bulldogs defense a little more. Ole Miss offense is Plumlee creating with his feet and he might he even more of a focus if Phillips can't go for the Rebs.

Macallanlover you are spot on with your post. I live in Ms and the State fans want a new coach. They are already looking ahead to basketball season. Ole Miss fans are excited about their future. Not to mention -- the visiting team has won the last 4 meetings in this rivalry. One final point - the line has moved from State -2.5 to State -1 so we assume some sharp money is on Ole Miss.
Good Luck with your bets!
