Standford has no timeouts and the player gets tackled in bounds after a first down. Clock goes to 0 but they stop it at 1 second to give them a field goal chance? Even the announcer said it should have been half time with no kick. Rigged

@DonkeyPunch6446
BYU didn’t call a timeout there was 5 seconds on the clock before the last play they complete a pass in bounds for a first. Why does the clock stop at 1 second if standford has no timeouts?

That was probably the single most ridicules call that I have seen along with the Central Florida pylon TD today. This is worse than all the crazy ridicules calls from the Zebras in the World Cup.

The Stanford guy got the first down and fell down with 1 second on the clock but it kept ticking so they had to put the second back. When you get a 1st down the clock stops so they can move the chains so if you're set before they blow the whistle you are able to run a play, but realistically they probably wouldn't have been able to get the kick off before it hit zero with the ref trying to get out of the way. BYU's dumbass saved them by calling timeout

@OneADayJ
Much respect on this outlook! Thanks. Makes more sense now. Do you have an opinion on the close UCF call TD next to the pylon? That one still haunting me.

OneADayJ is spot on. It was all about BYU calling the timeout here. Stanford dude dropped to the ground after the catch with one sec to go. BYU's timeout allowed them to get set.
But as far as the last Stanford touchdown, I have no explanation. It was obvious there was no toe drag and his leg landed out of bounds. Maybe Stanford gets into the end zone anyhow with two more downs to shatter the under, but we will never know.......
