This guy has to be one of the best safeties  i have ever seen.  He is only a SOPHMORE!!! He already has 7 interceptions in his career.  He is a sure 1st round pick when he comes out

Yea no kidding. I am watching the game and he is amazing. He was down to Auburn and UT, and obviously he choose UT. I wish we had him on our D.

UGA was on the list to at 1 point..i was dying for him to go to UGA.  This kid is going to be something special in the NFL..Reminds me of a Ed reed type safety..really good instincts

During practice week at the army all american game, he had two others convinced to sign with UT.  The guy is a leader in every sense of the word.  He gives UT arguably the best secondary in the league. 
 
Hopefully Florida will test him.

If florida had any clue at all they would not throw anywhere near the guy.  God i wish he committed to UGA

Yea Berry is sick and I don't see UF throwing anywhere near him

UT would be in great shape if berry could play quarterback too

 He does get reps in practice at QB in the "Wild Berry" formation.

They play different positions, but sophmore Chad Jones (S) for LSU is even better.  Most thought he would opt for baseball, but obviously he didn't.  The guy is an absolute beast!!!  6'3" 225lbs and runs a 4.5/40.  Berry is faster, but way smaller.  UCLA's tall receivers were able to make plays against him

Remember his name as you watch the LSU/Auburn game Saturday night.  He'll get 2 pickles against Auburn's joke of a QB.

Berry is great and I followed his recruitment process.  I was sort of suprised he picked Tenn but he is good.

Doesnt mean Tenn will win.  I like some of the UF DB's too Joe Haden is a stud.

 He started out last year as a backup CB as a true freshman,he was moved to starting SS in week 2 after senior SS Jarod Parrish was torched by Cal's speedy WRs in week 1. He's been the starting SS ever since.

I went to middle school with him, Never really talked to him, he was 2 grades below me, but my sister said he went to tenn b/c thats where his dad played

Yeah he is an amazing athlete, he played QB in high school. He started at corner last year as a true freshmen( remember the pick 6 he had against Tebow last year) and switched to safety this year, He could play either position at the next level, too. I think it's about time someone should give him a nickname.

And for the record, Florida doesn't have a defensive back on there roster that should even be mentioned in the same sentence as Eric Berry. This guy is one of a kind
