Miami the past three years have had recruiting classes ranked 10th, 14th and 12th under Al Golden. The problem, Miami has yet to put it together on the field. When the schedule got tough last year after a 7-0 start Miami buckled and finished with a 2-4 record there after. Behind the offense sputtering and the defense being swiss cheese. Well this is a new year for the Canes and they break in True Freshmen QB Brad Kayaa. Kayaa is a 4 STAR recruit drop back QB that makes great decisions and can get the ball to the open playmaker good news because the U has a slew of them. Duke Johnson was an absolute monster out of the backfield before breaking his ankle against FSU. The kid was terrorizing opponents with almost 1000 yards in his first 7 games. At Wideout Stacy Coley is explosive averaging 11.8 yards per target last year as well as Herb Waters and Phil Dorsett. TE Clive Watford aint bad either. Now the Miami Oline lost half of its starters from an excellent line last year but the left side is still intact. On defense the Canes were horrible last year and the hope is with some new blood up front and more experience in the secondary they will be able to turn it around. They have the athletes considering all the high star recruits so its just a matter of experience and better coaching. DC Mark D'onofrio better have a good year or he could be out after the defense ranking 73rd, 88th and 91st the past 3 years.
Louisville welcomes back Bobby Petrino. The controversial offensive genius who just simply wins games. He will be starting a new qb in Will Gardner who has looked very solid in the spring and practices before the game. His spring game performance was 32 for 37 for 542 yards and 4td's. At RB Louisville returns starter Dominique Brown and Michael Dyer, who looks to be out for tonight's game. They will be running behind a very experienced Oline who returns 4 seniors and a junior. At Wideout Louisville has a slew of playmakers although the best one Devonte Parker is out for the next 6 weeks. On defense there will be a lot of change for the Cardinals. A new 3-4 alignment which will free beast OLB Lorenzo Mauldin even more. He had 9.5 sacks last year and 12.5 TKL. James Burgess is also a pretty solid inside LB. The D line is inexperienced however but the secondary sports 2 really good corners in Terrell Floyd and Charlie Gains. While this defense will not be great like they were last year they will be ok.
Game Prediction:
Both teams have explosive offenses. Bobby Petrino will definitely have his team ready to put up points against this questionable Miami Defense. On the other side of the ball I expect Duke Johnson to run wild and for Brad Kayaa to be competent enough to get the ball to his playmakers. While I believe taking a side is too close to call I do very much like a high scoring affair with both defenses being suspect and both offenses being able to put up points. Therefore I will be on the over.
MIAMI/LOUISVILLE OVER 54.5

Won't get out of the 40's!!!!! Dead Under, stay away!!!
Yeah Mr. Legend..Known Hermes in here a few years, and I can guarantee you when he commits to a write up, he sticks to it. However, your counter point is so persuasive, you might just be the first one to move him off his pick.
