Per ESPN Golson visited Florida today. He will be at Georgia tomorrow. Bama, S. Carolina, FSU and UCLA are on his wish list. I believe that ND has some say in where they will permit him to go. If that's the case, Brian Kelly should let him go to any one of those schools IF he promises to throw at least 20 interceptions this year.

UCLA would snap him up in a minute if they get the chance.
BV, I think that UCLA would be a great place for him to land. The articles I've read indicates 10 teams on his wish list, but those mentioned in post #1 are the only ones that I know of. Since he's a spread QB, that might narrow his choices somewhat.

trawler not to be an a$$ but BGSU has Knapke back and Matt Johnson back from injury so they look ok at qb right now
I read on the college football talk site this morning that now ND will try to limit where Golson can transfer to They'll try to make sure he can't transfer to any school on ND's 2015 schedule and a few Big 10 schools. I have issues with this and they are:
1. I thought when you were a Grad transfer that you could transfer anywhere you wanted. Thats what i've been told for the past few years. If thats wrong then this needs to be fixed going forward
2. All ND fans and media seem to be saying they'll be better off without Golson and good riddance. Well if you're better off without him.... then why do you care where he ends up? I think whether its Golson,Zaire Dashone Kizer,Rudy,Ron Pawlus etc i think ND is 7-5 team this year
Brian Kelly what a maroon

Pack , The SEC has a rule regarding Grad transfers who have been involved in disciplinary actions at the school they are transferring from. The" Masoli Rule " was instituted to prevent such transfers , and while a waiver may be obtainable , his best option might still be FSU.

Per Al.com , Everett Golson will announce Monday which school he is planning to attend. The article identifies the school as FSU , which is consistent with post #12 indicating that the SEC is not going to be flexible on the " Masoli rule "

If the article is right about FSU it makes sense. Jimbo has has 3 qb's Ponder,Manuel and Winston get drafted in the 1st round. Do i think Golso is #4? No i don't but if Golson has eyes on the NFL that may be the best spot for him

wiseguy i was aware of that SEC rule

if he goes to Florida St, how less lucaritive will their national title odds be?....they are currently 35/1
With all the hype Golson is receiving in this circus , it's got to knock that value down somewhat , but FSU only returns 4 starters on offense. IMO he will not make that much of a difference. Losing 4 starters on the O line will make his job a lot more difficult.
