Well, final week of the college football season is upon us and I think we get some good action to close this year out. I think at least two dogs pick up SU wins this week.
Boise State Broncos +7.5
Been looking at this game for some time and while the headline preface is TCU's stellar defense against Boise State's quick strike offense, I think it's the reverse that will decide the outcome. Both of these teams are good on both sides of the ball, but for me I think the Boise defense is better than the TCU offense. Not so much comparing stats, but X's and O's and how each unit plays when the clock is ticking. From the Boise side, they held Oregon to 8 points, which was the first game of the year, but they manhandled the Ducks. From TCU side, their offense faced two teams in the top 25 in terms of yards allowed. Air Force who is ranked # 10 and Clemson who is ranked # 22. TCU won both games, but the offense managed only 20 and 14 points respectively. Boise State ranks 13th in yards allowed, so I'm challenged to see how TCU's offense will fare tonight. TCU seemed to dominate last year's game yet only managed 17 points. I'm not sure that TCU can improve from last year's game too much, but their is tons of ways that Boise can improve and I think the coaching staff has them ready. I think Kellen Moore has a great game thanks in large part to the establishment of the run by Jeremy Avery. I'm well aware of how good TCU's defense is, but not much has changed from last year, so I think Boise makes the adjustments needed to keep this game close and possibly come away with a win.

archdriver - thanks and I agree. Something wasn't right in those games for TCU and Boise is better defensively than both Clemson and Air Force. Both are games in the past, but I think if Boise takes care of the ball, they will be in posiiton to win
Dovjak - thanks. GL

clemson rated 35 defensively by sportsillustrated; boise rated 45, air force rated 53; therefore I'd have to question your assertion boise is better defesively than those teams
