you may be right...and this is one of my top 15 games or so...

its more of fade of near talentless Idaho than thinking the Gators are going to make a 180 degree turn from their disgusting 26-20 lost to FCS Georgia Southern in the last game. That's the unknown for me. Let assume wild man Coach Boom tells his MF's that Idaho will not score...make it happen. I can see that...

But, you are putting a lot of faith on talent differential and that this new O (despite looking good in the spring game) will be absolutely humming from the getgo in week 1. Granted, Fla had horrible injuries last year, but, even with the O being virtually non existent, how did that mighty Florida O give up 26 points to lowly Georgia Southern. From my perspective, Florida should have been able to win that game 10-3, if that D was really that good.

I personally think there are better options on the board. I think Florida will win and probably cover, but it is lower on my priority list right now. You and other Florida backers should think about those points. This is a likely cover, but its nowhere near a slam dunk, in my opinion...

Exactly, defense should shut them out... the question is will Gators put up 36? I personally think they will. In fact, I expect defense to score in this game. There are some serious athletes on that team. I think this is a pretty good play...

I agree the team threw in the towel last year, like spoiled babies.

I also see that the injury bug has stayed away from Gainesville this year so far and Pease is gone. Things can only get better, right?

If you must wager this game, UF is the play but there are much better games.

Then again, if UF wins by 50 you'll be kicking yourself for passing on this "on paper" great spread. Such is gambling.

This is one of those games where you wait for them to open the team totals and pound the under on Idaho&#x27;s team total. I doubt they score a TD they might get 1 or 2 field goals. Idaho&#x27;s team total will be around 14 based on the -35 spread and 51 point total.

I posted in another thread about Florida&#x27;s record in Week 1 against Non-BCS conference schools being over 24 pt faves and the results aren&#x27;t great.   They should have killed Miami, Oh a few years ago and their center forgot how to snap the ball.   Too many things not to trust about them right now.  They should not be a 5 TD favorite over anyone in FBS right now.

Idaho having a Petrino as head coach could get them 10-20 points in a total blowout in the second half.I think this game starts 28-0 Gators but ends up something like 45-14.

You wipe the crap on your feet on them to get clean. Last years season for Florida is the equivalent of the crap on the bottom of the shoe. No way I am touching this game- Florida has been atrocious on offense the last couple of years and I can see this game ending 42-10. Florida will get up and put it on cruise control. I was looking at the Idaho team total under but I could see Florida going up 42-3 and giving the Vandals a late meaningless TD. I don&#x27;t think I will be betting on the Gators at all unless it&#x27;s later on in the season.

For those of you that do not know. Driskel is the star of camp so far and the offense has looked the best in a camp in over 5 years.. and this is coming from good sources that tell me how bad it looks this time every year. The OL is deep, they have the most WRs and RB's they have had in God knows how long and a GREAT OC. I've heard nothing but good coming from the team this camp and their chemistry as a unit and team is the highest it's been since Muschamp arrived.

Florida is going to hurt Idaho in that first game.
