Line was set high for a reason. It went up for a reason too.

 

Auburn might get embarrassed quite frankly.

a lot of people liking the under..because they believe a lot of running plays will chew up the clock...

Not when those run plays average 6-7 yds a carry with an occasional 20-30 yarder...I like the over because regardless of how Auburn plays tonight offensively, they will struggle defensively with the bevy of talent on that FSU offense. I expect FSU to dictate the terms and Auburn may eventually have to get out of their original gameplan and cause Auburn to pass more/ try a few trick plays etc. FSU will not be stopped tonight trust me. I see atleast 42 pts in a huge game like this where every player will want their piece of the pie. Final FSU 48 Auburn 31

Not to mention the college rules of clock stopping to reset the chains after those first downs. And there will be a lot of first downs tonight that's for sure. This game may last 4 hours...

So what was the reason Alabama was -13 and went up to -17 same reason? 

 Nobody knows what's going to happen tonight , people can try to sound like they know  , don't even think the coaches or players know , but all the i told you so people will be out after the game either way .

Auburn will never have to get out of their game plan because FSU will not have time between snaps to figure what defense to run.

Well sure. I'm not trying to sound like I "know" what's gonna happen. Of course I don't. I'm just trying to pick a side and I truly believe that odds makers knew they would have NO TROUBLE WHAT SO EVER getting action on "the team of destiny". Therefore if they seen this as a closer game I think the line would suggest that. Now I know sometime lines are soft yaddy yaddy yadda but not on a huge game like this. Books would obviously protect themselves from wiseguys by not putting out a super soft line Now with that said it's football and anything can happen. Game altering plays that shift momentum are HUGE in these bowl games even more so the national championship. I think Winston will have a monster game and show just why he was the Heisman award winner. Also think FSU defense can make more plays then Auburn's defense can for 60 minutes.

The lines move across key numbers when the books are not sure either and just want to balance the action. Often a game will gets stuck on a key number even with a lopsided percentage because the books are comfortable with adding juice and having their decision be the other side of whoever is being played heavy. They keep moving the line more and more when they are more undecided about their opinion on a game. Just my two cents.

Must be the same reason the Alabama / OU line was set so high, and went higher the day before the game... sound reasoning!
