Good luck take the local school ;).  Joking aside I think Oklahoma has rebounded a bit from a brutal start but pshychology also sets in and the Sooners will be expecting a rather easy walk in the park vs. the Midshipmen which I think will ultimately be their undoing.  Looking at FH as well as I think one team is squarely more motivated than the other.

How are they going to expect a walk in the park vs a team with more wins and the spread only 1? And when you only have 56 scholarship players left

 For me, the local school is Navy; depending on traffic, it's 35-60 minutes from me.

Bowl games with relatively nothing on the line are measuring sticks for programs.

Navy can win 10 and say they beat Oklahoma.

 GL today!  I agree with you here.  I'm personally staying away from this one.  There are too many unknowns in these bowl games anymore due to the portal/transfers, etc.  Trying to find any edge is very difficult to do!
