I'm glad I waited because UCLA line went to +7. I know Iowa's running game is fantastic and Sullivan is also a dual threat which Iowa lacked w/ McNamara. I really like this Sullivan kid and how much of an improvement he is from McNamara. Having said that, UCLA's run defense is elite. With this game being Sullivan's first true road game of the season, and UCLA is home in almost a must win game, this is not going to look like the last two blow out games. And if UCLA is able to limit Iowa's run game, I'm really interested to see how Sullivan does in the passing game.
My only concern is that UCLA is one of the most penalized teams. Do I think they can fix it now? I doubt it but I think they play well enough to keep this game within 3 points.

Wake has much improved run defense but Cal is a pass first team with Mendoza. Every team that played Wake knew that and went pass heavy whenever they played this team. The stats show Cal’s run play percentage at around 48% but this misleading because Cal allows one of the most sacks in the league and you know in college this goes under rush stats. Can Wake take advantage of this? I think not. Wake is one of the worst getting after qbs. As much as I hate laying -7 on a road team, I like this Cal team to cover comfortably.

Adding…
Cal -7

@ButtGrease Great Record, You know your stuff. I give you credit for taking SDSU. I find Sean Lewis to be one of the worst play callers in College Football....
