Meh, this is a non-event. He wouldn't have seen the field again, even if Shaw were to get hurt. They have been getting Bruce Ellington reps at QB in practice. I wouldn't be surprised to see him rotate to backup.

They're at Miss St this week, then have a week off.

For what it's worth, I think they cover at Miss State this week.

IF he is gone, this is the best thing for that team. That guy just brings bad mojo, and I think all Shaw needed was the reasurance that he is the starter, no matter what. Kind of like Lee at LSU... I think he needed to know that he was the starter at LSU to do what he is doing now, and I think that confidence build up has put him in a spot where the competition that is there now, is going to make him even better.

In the case of SC... All they needed was a QB, to make that two headed monster on their team work. If Shaw does what he did last weekend, SC will win the east.
