Am I the only one that thinks Georgia ran a vanilla game plan on purpose to lose because everyone knows that what is REALLY important to Georgia is a national championship! Not an SEC championship..2) Bama HAD to show up to get in.. 3) It does nothing for Georgia to win that game and possibly face Bama again later..4) Georgia also benefits by taking the #1 target off their backs and a reality check also helps them.. especially momentum wise possibility facing Bama again.. I just think losing that game was for more important for Georgia than winning it... plus Bama had thier best game of the season... Am I wrong or is Georgia not legit? Or is Bama really this good????

have you watched any kirby smart game as a head coach? That vanilla plan IS THEIR game plan, they just get away with it against teams with less talent 95% of their games year after year.. He lost because he once again decided to do nothing about the QB position to prepare for when they would need to score points instead of throwing by luxury.

You’re right Alabama was desperate and played that way. You’re wrong in thinking that game didn’t matter to Georgia. They could have been #1 playing ND and now they’re #3 playing Michigan and IF they win that game they have to play Alabama again. Georgia is great but Alabama has a significant edge at the 2 most important spots. QB & Coach. They would smash Georgia in a rematch unfortunately

.. Georgia had the chance to knock out Bama from the playoffs and their biggest threat to a Natty... so u think they rather play Cincy/ND had they won and been the #1 seed or Michigan as a #3 seed as they are now..
I said it all last week..
-Georgia has not been tested all year and Bama has.. u see what Bama did down 10-0..they have been there before..
-Stetson Bennet.. he is a liability vs elite teams.. what will Bennett do when he down in the 2nd half? He did what I expected to do.. Choke.
-Coaching. Huuuuuge mismatch between GOAT and Kirby.. then u have O’Brien as OC picking apart that so called vaunted Defense of Georgia..O’Brien has gone up against every defense imaginable in the NFL calling plays for NE/Houston. Oh BTW.. Doug Marrone is the OL coach for Bama.. how many sacks did Georgia get in the game?
Mayweather bet 450000 on

UGA going to get back to their game and our physical Bama if there is a rematch. The motivations will be equal in the rematch and they simply were not in the Sec championship, big difference between want and NEED and Bama Needed. Finally the years on recruiting on Alabama’s level will pay off

If they start Stetson they lose. And Kirby must not trust JT if he is available but doesn't see reps. How do you recruit at a high level on par with Saban and not have an elite QB.

I think it's a bad job of evaluating talent. I think they thought Stetson was elite, and they were wrong. Same with Clemson and Ukulele.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

I've never heard that. Follow all of the UGA insiders and none seem to think this either. You're either flat out making it up or it's just internet fodder of the casuals. The only thing I've seen is a rumor (IG post) that UGA cleared Daniels and that his personal MD said he wasn't ready. Which doesn't even add up.
If his attitude was that, the portal is always open and he would already be in it. Why wait until the end of the season and after early signing day?
Several things have to change in the rematch if there is one. Michigan is playing as good as anybody and if UGA overlooks them, they'll be going home early.

There will be open practices and media access in Miami so keep a close eye on things after Christmas. You better believe reporters are going to be hounding JT (and everyone) and asking the same questions we are. Kirby won't have the same luxury to keep everything under wraps down there.

Would not make it up. You tell me why he didn't play Sat? Is KS that incompetent? Just sharing what I've seen two different places. Frankly, I'm indifferent at this point.

You are right, they threw the game on purpose to setup Bama vs Michigan in the title game... If Georgia won, whoever finished 5th would of gotten the 4th seed and played Georgia, then you would of had Cincy vs Michigan... College Football needs Bama for the ratings..

Georgia wanted to win that SEC Championship. Of course the goal for every big team every year is the national championship, but "throwing" a conference championship is a huge stretch. Georgia had not been really tested all year and Bama was an underdog with Saban motivating them just was too much. The biggest X factor was the right side of the offensive line for Bama came to play. If that side of the line played the way they did against Auburn, Georgia coulda/shoulda/woulda won this game or it been much closer.
Georgia is legit and they run a vanilla playbook that has worked for them this year along with that defense stopping almost anything thrown at it. If Georgia faces a balanced team with a better QB, they will be in trouble. I think they have their hands full with this Michigan squad.
