I think Mathew Stafford is the only Georgia QB playing on Sundays. Remember QB Stetson Bennett won consecutive Championships with Georgia, I think he is on the Rams practice squad. The Bulldogs do not rely on exceptional QB play, they are built different. I can name you plenty of former Bulldog defenders and linemen that play on Sunday. I think Gunner Stockton will be fine and manage the game nicely, his ability to evade a rush and run the ball is exactly what this team needs. If Georgia still had TE Bowers and WR McKonkey, some playmakers on the outside then Carson Beck would be missed. Georgia does not have those playmakers and that is why Beck and the offense has been down this year. When Gunner came in the offense moved the ball and looked better in the 2nd half. The play calling was very conservative with short passes but I think that will open up with Gunner preparing for this game. The play that sticks out to me in that Texas game was the Over time run by Gunner when he put his head down and went for it and got absolutely destroyed and knocked out of the game. He did get the 1st down and on the next play from the 4 yard line when everybody knew a run was coming the Offensive line plowed a path into the end zone. I think the team steps up and continues to feed off the toughness and running that Gunner brings. Mykell Williams and the Georgia pass rush can create issues for a ND front that has not done well at keeping the pressure off of Riley Leonard. The ND defense has over come injuries all season but losing D lineman Riley Mills will be even more difficult to over come. Give me Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs to win ugly.
