Saban with a month to prepare should be very dangerous but can’t say I agree that they belong in the top 4

 2 years in a row! I like Maryland they’re scrappy. If baby Tua didn’t turn it over so much they’d pop a big upset or 2 through the year

and FSU needed amazing luck to beat Clem and only beat BC by 2. Texas blew three 3 TD leads against KSt, Hou and TCU and only beat them by 1 score.

Georgia struggles against SCar, GaTech..."only" beat Vandy by 17. 

the question is....when they get into big games, how do these teams do?
Texas won at Bama

Bama lost to Texas but beat Georgia

Georgia lost to Bama

Wash beat oregon by 3 twice

Mich beat tOSU by 5 or so

FSU........didnt play any top 10 teams.  LSU was about it.

 Which is kind of the way to explain why the committee got it right... They sure as hell didnt want to play bama. They would have been screaming for joy if they faced FSU 

It is scripted.  The committee will make sure Michigan will pay for their sins.  The only two teams that can take Michigan out is bama or Georgia.  Can't put Georgia in or bama folks will get crazy.  In come the mighty bama, the only team left to take out cheating Michigan.

 Speaks to how clueless you are...usf Saban was proving to his entire contingency of fans that Milroe was the best option at what we had and our OC was learning a entire new team.  Look from week 1 to now...not even the same..

Just play the game.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw it.  

If I was the committee, I would set it up for better ratings like this.

Bama will then have 2 rematches for the trophy.  This would be more interesting of a script for bama.

What has Michigan dominated? The weak a$$ Big 10? They have yet to win a playoff game, that is not exactly domination. 

Bama was a whole different team after they re inserted their starting qb I’m blanking on his name 

but yeah they looked bad against auburn but that game is usually always close 

     Imo..Michigan will advance to the NGC and play Wash and Wash will remain unbeaten and make history. In the grand scheme of things using a pure points differential model using  Michigan and Bama's last 3-4 road games pure point stats. They basically played the same AOPR ( Caliber of Competition) using an adjusted PF / PA pure points model.

         Georgia is a shell of its former self..playing the dregs of the SEC in their 4 game road series ie Vandy Florida Tenn, GTech, not a murders row of competition. Within this road series is how we gauge Georgias offense and defensive numbers.  Georgia couldn't even put GTech away played Tenn Florida and Vandy in that 4 gm road series prior to Bama. Georgia use to blow these teams out by 35. They dropped off , again, a shell of their former self.

       Alabama played Miss St ..lol Texas AM , Kentucky and Auburn.  A better AOPR on the road  as to what Georgia was playing on the road and if you look into the YPP and the offensive and defensive pure PF and PA. Alabama was the better team and it showed., However, they were still giving up 24 pure points per gm., not the 18 as in the past another shell of their former self.  Now they face Michigan. Michigan and Alabama have basically the same AOPR in their last 4 road games. We cap the road games because thats where they are on the road. Only one difference. Michigan  carries the better pure point defense  by 11 pure ppg and that's what's going to carry them to the NGC. Defense

       Alabama Defense 24 pppg / Michigan Defense 13 pppg. Alabama pppg offense 22. Michigan Offense 19 using an adjusted pure points math model. The team that will get the stops imo will be Michigan because of their defense and when someone says Michigan only beat Maryland by 7..they are not looking at the big picture withing their 4 game road series when its broken down into a pure points perspective. Tunnel vision.

     Its a compilation of games within the road series.. not one game so you cant say Team A beat Team B by so many points but lost to this team by so many points.  It is of my opinion in this matchup that Michigan will advance in a low scoring game and beat Alabama. Thats my opinion using my methods that have worked fairly well in the past during this time of the season.
