***Hawaii playing at Noon on E. Coast....Thoughts???

Does anyone have any insight as to how Hawaii will respond to playing at 6am local time?  I checked their homepage and they left today for a 13 day road trip starting at Army, with a week layover in Vegas before going to Boulder to face Colorado in week 3. 

Can athletes overcome the extreme time change in such a short amount of time? 

Will they be overlooking the Army game with a week in Vegas ahead of them?

I can't imagine getting up at 4am to start pregame rituals for a 6am kickoff.....

they should be adjusted by then.. history shows Hawaii doesn't travel well.. even in the WAC.. however, this is Army we are talking about.. I do think Hawaii will cover, but I can see why people wouldn't think so.. If Hawaii can get a lead, Army isn't built to be a come from behind team.. the run and shoot is different then anything Army has faced for a while.. Moniz should play as well, so not only will Army have to deal with the WRs, they'll also have to deal with Moniz's running ability..

Hawaii will be sleepwalking early. Also the line movement suggests it is sharp money!

Hawaii has covered 7 of their last 10 on the road.

Not sure how many of those were like 6am contest though.

My gut feel is they may get off to a slow start but won't take long to get em in gear and cover as the small dog.

Seems like with the new OC at Hawaii, their offense looked really good. Looks like they got a new pistol set with much more running plays. I don't think USC was giving all 100% on defense but putting up 30 aganist USC is pretty good. I think Hawaii's offense will put up at least 35 therefore making Hawaii a good pick.

FYI I was recently in russian for 21 days and had no problems adjusting to the time difference... but I was mostly drinking and fucking...didn't really play any football.

Don't forget, it will be 9/11. Those military boys will be hella motivated! Plus Hawaii lives on the opposite side of the country. Sleepy!

And you guys don't think hawaii is motivated also.  Not just this game but for the whole season.  3 teams is leaving the WAC and they feel disrespected.  They are going into the season with a chip on there shoulder.  Hawaii starting center is back, but not quite sure about Moniz.  Defense will have to step up in this game to have any chance. 80% of public is on Hawaii but line is moving the oppisite way.  It's either Hawaii small play or no play.  Better games on the board.
