Happy Holidays Cova' brothas .. I want to argue why TEXAS should/can/WILL trample Buffs in rustic San Antone Tuesday in the Alamo City....with the following facts and resulting opines..In # order of Importantance..

#1 STUD CU Sr Nate Landman..a Nagurski Finalist btw(Top LB), is out because of a ruptured Achilles suffered at End of 1st half in last game vs Utah..oh crap'.., Utah scored 28 in that second half as CU was without their CU Star LB leader.. imagine that Fr Robinson kid for TX doing his best ex KC and TX rb..his name I forget..Btw..his dad was my Stats teacher back @ RJHS in Denver Mr Robinson.. NEVER forget him.. Good Luck trying to stop him despite the capable TX bluechip backups getting to show their skills..

#2 Herman's Last 3 Straight Bowl wins and CU not winning a bowl since 2004..WTF.... Ole Tom ain't letting up on the pedal in this rampage..Like pointed out in multiple threads here..He MUST win AND Cover to satisfy his $$$ hungry TX hierarchy and fandom.. Think about it..Steers are traveling 85 miles south to play a lightly played squad(5 games) who never knew who, when, and where they could find an opponent..(SDSU) multiple games scratched.. ie.USC .. so they beat UCLA and Stanford..whoopee..look who TX lost to..OU, ISU, and TCU ?.. would be 8-3 if TX played hapless Ku..they are much more Seasoned.. haven't mentioned the Sam comparisons yet.. Btw.. I'm here in Colorado and even read where HC Dorell said he was happy to take team down to San Antonio where they could go out and be Normal for a couple of days..Swear to God..most of you are probably lucky to have an Open state.but Trust me.. Republic of Boulder Really sucks right now....

Buffs just happy to get out of town and play in any game..

#2b Coaching.. do y'all realize that Dorell wasn't even hired until Feb 23rd , some 12 days after Midnight Mel baled to take over the Msu Spartans... Incredible job motivating these demoralized kids..won Pac 12 Coach of the year..but he's nowhere on the same tier as Herman..He got the very Most out of this group but see Monster Longhorn advantage...Just stating the Truth...I know you all always bring up coaching in Bowl games and this one is staring you right in the face..This kinda reminds me of GA Southern game vs La Tech.... Major Texas Advantage...

I think the roles are reversed in this bowl game with Texas being a big fave...Last 2 bowls Texas won SU vs Georgia as DD dogs and vs Utah as +7 Dogs....I think Texas takes CU lightly and loses...Ofcourse Texas has more talent but..Bowls are all about motivation....

#4 Line Movement.... This game opened at -12' and is Down to 8' where I made my Mortgage sized wager.... Despite such movement I can't Find an alternative line..hmmmm..I wonder why.. something very suspicious to get you to take those points and Support Buffs..I ain't buying... notice many of you like those points..but I'm pretty familiar with what overachieving Buffs have done this year...No Landman..big line movement other way... Don't get it.. Don't buy it.. It's so obvious its right in front of you.... Don't be fooled..

More Seasoned veteran program with a successful record in recent Bowl matchups vs an over achieving lightly tested squad happy to even play a 6th game.. hasn't won a bowl game in like 16 years and the $$$ is flowing their way...

#5 The Sam's Difference.. TEXAS SR Captain Sam E. vs Sam ?? The CU qb..

Major Longhorn Advantage..4th year starter trying to go out in All his glory before trying to get an NFL clipboard job.. This IS and Will be the Crowning moment of a very solid collegiate career.... He'll be good for a couple of rushing TD's to boot.... Aren't quality of QB's another Bowl Game factor everyone considers??? Only concern Ed about Mustafa getting him a couple of times but TEXAS QB Sam always gets up and dusts himself off. That's one tough SOB TEXAS playcaller...Just stating the obvious..

CU has stud RB.. around1,000 yards in just 5 games... does anyone realize he had a 300 yard game and Didn't score a TD in it...??? Against that power house Arizona Wildcats.the same AZ that lost 70-7 to rival ASU..well mighty CU had to come back from a 2nd quarter 13-0 hole....cuz of 2 super long runs by stud RB Broussard. He is CUs ONLY weapon..Laviskus Shenault baby brother..Frosh.. was suspended for this Bowl game..only other threat is KD Nixon..CU is totally outclassed here..they don't have the threats.. even Herman can see that.... TEXAS blue chippers who Finally get to show their skills on a fast Alamo Dome surface.. Major Longhorn Advantage

ALAMO DOME..Fans..11K allowed.. gonna be all wearing burnt orange.. essentially TEXAS home game...The Riverwalk is OPEN..helps keep TX fans happy...

CLASS/ COMPETETION..... Well we see TX schedule and all it's games played vs CU who didn't start until Like late September...TX dominates in class playing the better teams and performing.. much better offensively lately to Boot. Advantage TEXAS..

Please add any and All comments..I always appreciate the hating and opposing opines.. I'm not one to come post on a certain game but I feel this is a no brainer.. I'm just calling it like I see it playing out..CU might keep it close in first half but Longhorn depth and Deep talent throttles outclassed Buffs in second half no matter what.. look at Utah game played in Folsom Field....

Herman will have those Longhorn fans extremely happy and excited for next year exiting Alamodome Tuesday night...I loved this game as much as Liberty getting that TD vs CC.. still can't believe that lineman pulled football out of #8's tummy trying to hold him up from scoring.. Absolutely unreal... Anything could happen BUT I DON'T see this one being close..

 Landman and Shenault out is MAJOR. Landman makes all defensive calls! Spread should be 12.5.

Line is down to -7.. ml is -280... some players have to be out for Texas..

My book does not post alternative lines until the day of the game, which I suspect is the policy of most books.

 Yes..top OL and top DL are sitting out for Texas but as astutely pointed out Landman is out..That cat might have been a very solid and High draft pick LB.. he IS the heart and Soul of CU defense

 True but they have Miami/Osu alternative lines up.. I think they Know they're trying to sucker in some CU support.. Longhorns could easily put the usual Buff bowl blowout into reality.. AGAIN.. Just saying..

Bookmaker usually doesn't have alt lines up until morning of game. They don't have for either game yet.

FR Robinson looked great too.but they really didn't use him that much..
