Before I ask the question I take full responsibility for placing wagers on Houston. This isn't a rant. I'm just wondering what has happened to this squad over the past 3 weeks. The level of play has gone off the deep end since that lost against Navy. I understand that it probably ended their playoff chances but I didn't expect them to call it a season. Am I missing something? Is Todd Herman preoccupied with other jobs this offseason? Was the Big 12 talk in their heads. Any insight would help. I don't expect them to put 60 on everyone week in week out but the last 3 weeks they have just seem really uninspired.

Ward not playing bad. 2 terrible fumbles and another drop that to be honest looked like a fumble. This SMU offense is now inspired. I would change the channel and move on. This game is dead. About to be 21-0

I feel bad for whoever took Houston.

They were going to score and the guy fell on his back before he fumbled but they didn't review it, even the announcer was shocked.

Now the momentum has shifted, what would have been possibly a 7-0 Houston start, has lead to a terrible momentum swing.

This has nothing to do with betting. This team still has a chance at a New Years Bowl. And nothing is saying that Navy runs the table thus the AAC Conf Champ is nothing out of the picture.

I wouldn't call this team garbage. They just have no juice to them. Just look at the sidelines. Its like a library.

I don&#x27;t like to overreact but I would imagine a 2nd loss today to 2-4 SMU would probably take Houston out of the top 25 poll. I don&#x27;t know how you keep them inside (even with the Oklahoma win)

Tom Herman just lost his shot at the LSU job that much I can tell you. Oklahoma could not defend a high school team btw
