Husker Season Wins

Well they should clean up in their first 3 games (2 TD favorites in all 3).  After that they go to Michigan and are a 2+TD dog, then they have Purdue at home where they're a slight favorite.  So they can start out 4-1.

After that they have Wisc and NW where they are 2.5TD and 1 TD dogs so to 4-3.  Currently favored over Minnesota by a little over 1TD so 5-3. 

Leaves us with Ohio St, Mich St, Iowa, and Illinois.  20 pt and 13 pt dogs to Ohio St and Mich St respectively (away games against Ohio St, Mich St, Wisc, and Michigan, I mean seriously, wtf) but they have Illinois sandwiched in the middle where they're a 10pt favorite so can get to 6-5.  That just leaves Iowa at the end, Iowa is at home but only a 4.5 pt favorite right now.  So they can get to 7 wins with a win there.

Basically comes down to a couple games if they have an average season.  They have to beat Purdue at home where they are a slight favorite and they have to beat Iowa on the road where they are a slight dog.  

I think you're right but there are some places we can attack.  The site I use as the lines for the season as:

- Nebraska -22.5 against Akron
- Nebraska -13.5 against Colorado
- Nebraska -17 against Troy St
- Nebraska +16.5 at Michigan
- Nebraska -4.5 against Purdue
- Nebraska +17 at Wisconsin
- Nebraska +6.5 at Northwestern
- Nebraska -7.5 against Minnesota
- Nebraska +20 at Ohio St
- Nebraska -10 against Illinois
- Nebraska +13 against Michigan St
- Nebraska +4.5 at Iowa

Just based on Favorite/Dog we're looking at 6 wins but I think they could show up in the Iowa game at the end of the year and at Northwestern.

Do you post your analysis for any other teams anywhere?

I have them at 5-7. Wins over Akron and Troy in the out of conference. They beat Purdue, Illinois and Minnesota at home. 

I don't see them really keeping within single digits in road games @ Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Iowa and Wisconsin. They get Michigan State at home, but still see the Spartans winning that one by a score or two. 

They could beat Colorado. I only have them as a 1 point underdog, but they could also lose all three of their conference games that they'll be favored in. I have them favored by a TOTAL of 6.5 points in those 3 games. 

Under 7 feels very safe and if you're getting it at 7.5 - you almost have to. 

I saw someone mention the total on Iowa? I have them at 8 wins with not much wiggle room either way.

My local has Nebraska at 7 wins. 

I bet the under heavily. I see 6 wins at 5dimes. 

Am I fortunate or am I missing something? I see 8 wins as very unlikely.

I wish I could get under 7. No chance to get to 8. 6.5 is across the board is pretty accurate.
