    Some days it's just unbelievable.

Had LSU and Wiscy just now. Both were dogs, both had 2 score halftime leads (including the spread). They also each knocked the opponents starting QB out. And they both lost. So gross. And they each lost by 2 scores! Like, what? How does that happen in 2 games out of 2 plays?

Nussmeier with three 2nd half picks and a fumble. 3 turnovers on 3 straight possessions. Locke for the Badgers throws the most baffling pick6 you will ever see, no idea what he was looking at. In a 3 point game at home vs the number 3 team. After the WRs had at 4 drops in the first half that would have all been 1st down catches.

I must not be living right because I can't catch a break in college all year other than that big total play last night. I thought that was a sign it was turning around but obviously no, fk this i need to stick to NFL.

It's getting to the point I'm thinking of being a reverse tout, have people pay for my college picks so they can fade them. You'll make a killing. Herbsteit's dog could pick better than me in college.

I don't expect anyone to get the violins out just let me rant a bit before I go to bed.

These fkin idiot kids are killing me with all the drops, stupid flags (why are you touching a WR on the sideline at all when it's 4th and long or 4th and goal?! The refs can't wait to throw it you have to lay off) and head scratching turnovers.

You know how Josh Allen kept throwing all those crazy end zone picks or fumbling at the goal line the last couple years? I feel like every college team I bet on is like watching that happen every Saturday. I can't believe they're gonna be paying these dipsticks now. They don't deserve it. But certainly I'm the bigger fool for putting my hard earned on these muppets.

One thing I've been thinking about is I remember reading the book that the movie Casino is based on and there's a part where Lefty Rosenthal the legendary handicapper (Ace Rothstein/Deniro in the film) has another gangster asking him about all the college football games. Lefty keeps saying he has 'no opinion' over and over when asked about all the different matchups and the guy asking starts getting really mad, and finally Lefty tells him there's only 2 good plays on the whole Saturday slate. And he was betting tens of dimes per play back in the 70s. If Lefty could only figure out 2 good plays I probably would be lucky to get one (I usually play anywhere from 3 to 6 games on Saturday)

And I'll tell you, a big regret I have is I never practiced kicking field goals as a kid. Look how bad these college kickers are and they still get a free ride to these schools. Ohio State has the number one ranked soccer team and the shoe holds more fans than a lot of pro stadiums and they can't find a kid to hit a 30 yard FG? Meanwhile Nebraska kid came in and despite being 1 for his last 5, nails a 57 yarder.

And if you're actually a good kicker, you will have a super easy life. You can get a couple mill a year in the NFL and hardly have to get up off your arse because coaches only want to go for it on 4th down now.

It's feeling like every loss is some weird bad beat but obviously they can't all be. I guess I need to stick to the pros, not that it's an easy game there either but I definitely have much better results and don't see as much bonehead BS.

Duke missed a fg late off a turnover, then had a fg blocked to win the game.

In ot, they score, down by1, Diaz doesn't allow the K to try and  tie it...and the 2 pt conversion to win is denied, so duke loses.

This was brutal. My cousin likes to play lotto tickets and had SMU -2.5 . Once he decided to go for the win no way he can win.  SMU had 6 turnovers and Duke none yet Duke loses the game lol

I feel you I had a decent day but had a lot of lucky breaks like the smu game last leg of a teaser they only needed to win but their dumb qb kept throwing picks and fumbling at the end of the game, somehow they blocked what would have been the game ending kick for duke and went to overtime where duke went for 2 and didnt get it. I also got lucky in the k state game. The way you feel about college I feel about the nfl for me the nfl has way too many shenanigans going on especially the last 5 minutes not to mention the refs. like last week it was clear dolphins were the more dominant team as indy is awful but every time miami crossed the 50 and was a flag would come and thwart huge gains somehow indy won that game, refs kill the nfl for me

Seriously if I had a son I would tell him forget about doing your homework go outside and practice kicking at the uprights because all you need to be able to do is kick a friggin extra point you can get a free degree from the prestigious Duke University. Or apparently, even if you can't!

And these coaches are making absolutely insane wages despite most of them being completely braindead. Ryan Day, Brian Kelly, Kalen Deboers,  all have these top jobs and they couldn't organize a pissup in a brewery. The FSU coach I dunno how he got that job either Memphis was one of the sloppiest teams you ever saw it was all missed tackles, turnovers and flags but he gets an even bigger job at a P5 school and now everyone is shocked how bad the suck. They were only good because they had NFL level talent at QB and all over the defense the coach was just lucky.

In the start of the college season you haven't a clue what teams are really like because of all this transfer portal BS and then at the end of the season you don't know what teams are motivated or organized for the bowls because half the coaches leave for other jobs. And now I can barely remember who is in what conference with all the realignment. They watered down the CFP now too expanding that. Used to be one loss you were pretty much out of the running for the natty. But not anymore and that is why you don't see well coached teams any more like the Saban teams.

If Lefty could only figure out 2 good plays I probably would be lucky to get one (I usually play anywhere from 3 to 6 games on Saturday) And I'll tell you, a big regret I have is I never practiced kicking field goals as a kid.

    @NutinButtLove

Tell me about it. I also had LSU and Wisconsin ??

    Adding to my terrible day:

1h BYU under 27.5 and they get a 62yd TD in the last 30 seconds on 3rd and 8 to go over

1h Wyoming +0.5 game tied with 40 seconds to go. Wyoming has the ball so seems like a sure win. Nope, QB throws an interception. Still looking good since Utah State has the ball at 44yd line. Nope, first play 34yd pass and next play TD

1h Auburn over 21. Score is 10-10, 3rd and 5 with 15 second to go and 0 timeouts, instead of spiking and kicking the field goal, they run a play and QB gets sacked to end the 1h

Cin +7 full game, 35 second to go in 1h they go for it on 4th down and get stopped. Colorado then scored a TD in 30 seconds and they end up winning by 11

You can't make this shit up. Instead of being up a lot, I'm down huge! I've lost 5 straight weeks in college. Before college used to be a little better than NFL, but now with NIL and millions to these college students it seems as if there are more shenanigans in college than NFL. This shit drives you insane

college football is just turning into a bad brand of football, speaks more on society than anything.. These kids are soft, weak and selfish and don't care about the little things.

I got all the same plays as yours also . Lost 3K for only bet 200 . 1H need TCU/Ttu FG for over , they didn’t score in 7mins . And when I need them not scoring like Cincy/colo they score at 40sec. This year CFB is very sux . Can’t cap anything

damn you beat me to it. He merged “casino” and “donnie brasco” into one movie. At least thats what I surmise happened. Al Pacino isn’t in Casino, not the version we have in USA / north america / Earth at least, and Robby D plays “Sammy” ace rothstein. “Lefty” 2 guns is a nostalgic mobster in the Bronx in Donnie Brasco, who gets a pet Lion as a gift and wants to buy a boat or some BS. I think he means just Casino, and his brain is overstimulated and thusly on the fly invented a new hypothetical film merging two sub par 90s mafia movies into one 5 hour assault on the human condition.

anyhow, grab an ativan or something that “may cause dizzyness or drowsiness..” and a glass of choc milk and put this day behind ya soldier.

stimulants seem like, when mixed with risk, sports, a Saturday and few social options, why not throw money into the brew right?

sadly, thats a myth. Now if you were much better at capping, used only occasionally, and wanted to focus for 2 hours and wander through the fbs schedule and numbers to sort out some picks, and sadly also an insomniac, with 3.3 hours of sleep the last 7 days, ok, maybe spike your apple juice from mum with an adderall or laxative, but if you’re wondering how penn state beat wisconsin by more than 6 or 6.5, sonny you are assuredly on the wrong path.

stimulants maybe can help you pick psu next time, but nobodys perfect right? Forget the bad picks (err luck as you say) for a sec, what’s really concerning is writing it off / making excuses after (publicly too?), clearly you don’t “own” the choices / wagers, so you’re not invested enough to realize where YOU made mistakes. Teams win, teams lose, they trail, they lead, they give up, they conquer, etc, every hour of every day, and unless you own MSG or the Metrodome, its happening without impacting your finances.  If you think refs and college players cost you $ Saturday, not your choices connecting Wisconsin to your finances, then holy ____

i had the yankees Friday night. When they lost i didnt start gossip girl XXVI on here and address the masses. No instead I bet on Freddie Freeman to win WS MVP at +295 Sat morning.

he’s +100 now, next closest player is +610 after Freddie homered again Sat.

point is i lost a bet, but when a dude 3,000 miles away takes your money and hits it 450 feet into the gentle California night air, sending 4 runs home (that was 3 runs “too many” that game in case you dont follow the dodgers or MLB / AROD? Anything?)

so i found an opening not an excuse

If you think refs and college players cost you $ Saturday, not your choices connecting Wisconsin to your finances, then holy ____   i had the yankees Friday night. When they lost i didnt start gossip girl XXVI on here and address the masses. No instead I bet on Freddie Freeman to win WS MVP at +295 Sat morning.  he’s +100 now, next closest player is +610 after Freddie homered again Sat.   point is i lost a bet, but when a dude 3,000 miles away takes your money and hits it 450 feet into the gentle California night air, sending 4 runs home (that was 3 runs “too many” that game in case you dont follow the dodgers or MLB /yeah i guess i coulda got mad at the umps or a bat boy even, but i own my picks not them so i just found a way to make $ instead.

Why on Gods Green earth would you be on LSU in that spot?

Are you just a fan of college football & an action junky?

What made you say "LSU is the right side"?

Tex AM looks good with the backup.  Can’t believe they are only -3.5 vs SC.
