I don't think there is a chance in hell USC sees 28 especially with a inexperienced QB going up against mostly NFL prospects. However I don't see Alabama scoring a ton either also with an inexperienced QB to go along with a questionable OL. I do like bama in this game but I could also see reasons why people would take USC. 24-16 Bama.

USC just spent 270 million dollars to renovate the stadium just to have the LA RAMS play there. They better beat bama or they wont get the investment back. We got Jeremy Pruitt as a replacement defensive coordinator? Do you not realize that he is probably the best recruiter and defensive coordinator in the nation? Do you also not realize that he, Nick Saban, and Kirby Smart are all great friends for years, and that he was at Bama at the end of the season, so they all worked together on the transition? We will have the best defense in the nation, again.
Yes, we lost some players to the NFL, we always do, we are Alabama, but we have these things called #1 recruiting classes and the best coach in college football, so those players are getting replaced with 5 stars, and they are being coached by Saban. If we can beat Tennessee and Ole Miss, we will go.

I am looking at my book and at vegas... If you can get it at 11, I would probably play it, but I would still play it small. And the only reason I say that is, like I have said, Bama starts off their seasons slow and Saban does not like to run up scores, and he is going to go with the safest QB rather than the best QB for the job. If this was week 3, same game, I would play -14 and bet huge. Not sure on your logic on these rennovations, I guess I just look at facts rather than myth and unknowns such as fixes...

Anyone find it funny that Nick Saban makes too much money. I mean if Alabama fires him after this year They could save almost 25 million dollars in paying him. After this year they will have paid him near his 23.3 million they owe him on his contract. Im sure that bama could get a good coach for half that.

If you look at our core of receivers and the QBs we are recruiting. I will agree that you need a good D to stay with Bama, and USC simply does not have that. They have a good offense, but they will struggle against our defense, big time. Our defense will be better this season than last season.
IF we go 10 and 2 I have us losing to Ole Miss and Tennessee... Those are the big ones...
