Broke even last week @ 3-3 but still a good ride thus far this season. 28-13 ytd +17 units
Here we go for week Nine
La. Tech +1.5 @ Army
The Ruston boys can do this, I just know it. Tech has one of the very best run defenses in the nation and Army only runs the ball. After their home win over the lowly worm Vandals, the Bulldogs should have their road game on.
Rice +1.5 @ Tulane
Rice just has too much offense for the Greenies. Get these hopped-up Owls indoors in the Dome's controlled climate, and there should be no stopping their offense. Tulane will get plenty of points, but I don't see The Wave keeping up with their Houston visitors.
Pitt -9.5 over Rutgers
The Scarlet Knights are not what they used to be over the past several years.....in fact they suck and will be handled on the road by a far superior Pitt squad despite what the Mustache does to screw it up.
Georgia +2 @ LSU
Take it from a Louisiana boy, there is way too much emotional support for this lackluster Tiger team. I see the Athens boys putting it to Miles in Baton Rouge as Moreno will have a big night running the ball and he will soften up the weakening Bengal defense for the pass. LSU will have to pass the ball to have a chance and that's a scary notion for an offense predicated on the fun, but the Georgia run defense is just too stout.
Penn St. -2.5 @ Ohio St.
I picked against Tressel last week and paid dearly for it......but Jo Pa's boys should win @ the Shoe because they are simply much better in every offensive catagory. Despite the Buckeye's great defense, the Happy Valley clan just has too many weapons.
Bama +6 @ Tenn
Will the Elephants be looking to next week in Baton Rouge? Yes, but it won't matter. Hope Fulmer enjoys one of his last home games as the coach of the Vols.

Nice card JM, but if Bama were getting 6, I'd sell my wife to the international slave trade in order to put money on this one. Still like them laying 6 though. GL buddy.

LSU plays Tulane next week not Bama... something I figured a "Louisiana Boy" would know.

jmw whats up? I'm surprised you are going against LSU this week. You mentioned Georgia's stout defense? Well after watching what bama did to them on the ground, I think LSU will have success running the ball this week. I think LSU comes out on top with a late Colt David FG to get the win. Good luck to you.

Not so bad so far 26-13-1 My biggest win though came betting against LSU in gainsville. I'll be in Baton Rouge for Saban's return. Wouldnt miss that for the world!!! What you like tonight with Auburn/WV?

Two underperformers. I'm staying away but would take the under 38 if someone held a gun on me.
That should be some contest in BR huh? Man o man, there will be some booze consumed in Tiger Stadium that night for sure. And Loud? Damn, Pete, you'll need earplugs.
