If UGA were to actually win this game they would be favored by more than 6 b/c that is what they were favored by in the first game instead….

oddsmakers have moved the line down to draw more UGA action. If they felt confident UGA would win they would at least be -6 again. Line is giveaway on this one.

you are reading the line wrong. The opening line was Georgia -4 last time.... It was bet to -6.5 by the public.

 This is what has me hung up on this game. I didn't bet it when they played SECCG. It's a game you shouldn't over think, but it makes over think it because if your wrong either way it seems obvious.

If you look at the line movement when its at -2.5 there is heavy action towards GA and the books charging -115 with Bama at even money for the same -2.5.

However when it goes to +3, it is getting hammered by Bama money and goes back to -2.5 pretty quick.  This has happened several times.

If you still think lines are predictive versus meant to split public opinion, good luck with your read on this one.

100% this. Everyone is lined up to bet Bama ML. You don't even hear anyone saying they want the 2-3 points - just feed me the moneyline. Feel like they're going to walk away disappointed. This reeks of a Bulldogs win for me. Wouldn't be caught dead betting Bama here.

This line just tells you Vegas thought UGA was better than BAMA a month ago on a neutral field.....and they STILL have UGA as the better team, just a point or 2 less. Now, you gotta ask yourself....Are the linemakers completely stupid?

Don't know if you're talking about me or the other guy but yep 100% right. Money not lost is money gained in my book(pun intended). I had a good year this game won't make or break my year. Just giving my thinking towards this game w/o the x's and o's.

Train, over the years I’ve seen b2b’s played in the NFL wild card etc along in the nba and when one team is favored by c pts and loses and then their favored by the same or more in the next game they usually cover but when their favored by less than in the next game is when they usually lose again. Just my experience over the years.

 I agree with your position........just because this is the "big game" doesn't mean it calls for a big bet. I've got a futures play on bama +120, & bama +3 this game........a unit each. This game is a toss-up......two good teams that know each other. A case could be made for either team, & lots of bettors are trying their cases here.
