SOUTH CAROLINA -5Guys I am from the local Mississippi area and follow SEC football closely. I will guarantee this as the play of the year from me. I normally only play 2 units max but this one will be a 5 unit play here guys. Miss St has looked pitiful against UAB and La Tech the last two weeks. They can kiss those dreams good bye of being a dark horse team this year. South Carolina&#x27;s D will be the difference here as they will hold Miss State&#x27;s offense down the entire game... No worries this will be Connor Shaw&#x27;s first start on the road... 40&#x2B; carries from Lattimoore will have that State D crying and begging for mercy after that pounding he delivers all night

You need to get that number down to about 3... This will be a closer game than you think. The cow college is a tough place to play on the road, and this is a BIG SEC matchup. Lattimore will have a great game, but I am afraid Shaw will keep them in this one. I could be wrong about Shaw... History is against the guy, but he did surprise me last weekend. We will see...

And, SC's isn't really known for their rush defense right now. Which scares me because the new QB for state is a big time dual threat.

I definitely would NOT call this a GAME OF THE YEAR play... This line is low considering how both teams looked last week... MSU has their backs against the wall and could change their season around with a win here and be 4-3 going into the bye week... I agree MSU has not looked good so far this year but the Cocks are beatable...

Yes I agree with taking South Carolina but backing Connor Shaw on the road in Starkville is gutsy. Unfortunately I was right when telling people we were a tad bit overrated, and it doesn't help when there are two top 5 teams in our division. And when Auburn and Arkansas are the 3rd and 4th best team in the division, that should tell you something.

Tyler Russell is a better passer, but I'm not sure I would call him a dual threat. He doesnt have the fleetest of feet.

I wish we would win but unfortunately I think we go down by a touchdown.

I know Starkville can be a crazy place to play and its not really backing Shaw here guys... Its more or less stating the facts that State&#x27;s O is horrendous and South Carolina has a top tier Def IMO. Held Vandy to under 25 yards until final two drives of a pointless game. Lost to Auburn yet held them to 16... SC def is for real and with Lattimoore this pick is a no brainer. Do not over think this one guys. Winner

I went to to the ECU gm vs South Carolina and just with a lil croud noise shaw was over throwing recievers left and right...(overthrowing jefferies hard to do) haha but he was, he also had a fumble...i would want to get the number down to 3 but  BOL w your pick..this would be shaws first road start and miss st gets very loud so tread lightly..i just cant lay pts to a road team w a QB starting his first gm away from the carolinas

So it doesn&#x27;t bother you that the reason state&#x27;s Offense was horrible was because of the qb they replaced at halftime of UAB game...who will probably be starting against USC?  I think USC is a good bet, but play of the year on road fav in the sec is dangerous!!  Don&#x27;t forget MSU lost to LSU (best team in the nation)  @Auburn and @ UGA (team who is really surging and should win the east in my opinion).

Yes I am backing down from my POY here... everything just seems to be going the wrong way here... lines opens at -5 and I&#x27;ve seen it as low as -2.5??/ like what is going on... we have possible National Championship in SC if they win out in the SEC where MS State is playing for the BBVA Compass Bowl. Talent for state is severely inferior and now with Garcia gone, SC can finally move on from his debacle and create team unity and find away to Atlanta at the end of the year. The fact the line has been doing crazy movements is really what is scaring me...

Smartbets... yes I initially leaned on POY but the more I look at this game I will just play my normal 2units on this game which is what I normally play on strong plays.. No reason to go higher and risk the 5units as initial that was my initial thoughts... This game could definitely fall closer than I would like... regardless... homers?? uhm no sir I am moving off GOY of year for the simple fact I just do not feel comfortable that this is that type of play... it is a strong play if you would read my comments instead of critizing you would see that I said I will take it as my normal strong play which is 2units... I normally would do 5units on a GOY or POY... I have been around this for too many years and when I see something start sliding the wrong way for a period of days and its not just your typical sharps betting line change then that is a problem for me... especially considering how the line moved across that all important # of 3 down to 2 and now looks to be moving back up... and I guess you would think Penn State has just as much a chance to win NC this year as SC too huh... good luck cjordan, you are not an idiot, you adjusted your initial bet when you got more information. When a homer bets against his own team, it is usually for good reasons. I&#x27;ll put a one unit bet on South Carolina, I know it is tough to win on the road in the SEC but SC gets far better recruiting classes than Miss St.

Sharps...squares...blah blah blah. Line movement shouldn&#x27;t have had any bearing on how you handicap a football game. If you feel strong about a side the movement down should have made you feel even stronger. You are spooking yourself. This is a no play game for me ...I don&#x27;t like the idea of Shaw on the road in a hostile environment and Miss St. looks so mediocre this year. If anything, the under looks decent at 47. I see a puntfest and a low scoring game in  Starkville.

&#xD;&#xA;No one&#x27;s handicapping system is perfect... so therefore even though I play off of my system,  I do take any credible information to my play and attempt to find holes in my play. As I have attempted to do for this particular game.  I think this is a good, strong play as I have read more into this I am not as high in making this my POY game but I will make a strong play here.
