Team reporters for ASU said that the team hasn't been focusing on West Virginia in
the run-up practices this week, but instead on the positional battles
between returning players for next year, especially QB. The coaches are trying to evaluate the depth chart for next season. The team just
wants this season over with and move on to 2016.
We all know how important focus and "wanting to play the game" is in these bowl games.
I was leaning ASU, but after hearing this and knowing ASU's OC Mike Norvell has already left for Memphis, West Virginia or no play for me.
Good luck on whatever you guys decide to do.

Interesting, it is the QB's last game you'd think he would want to go all out in his last every football game. Todd Graham is a sneaky son of a b**** you never know what you will get from his teams.

Yeah, they will let Bercovici play it out, but they aren't concerned about him or this game really. They are trying to get a leg up on next year, especially with the coaching change at OC. They want to see how they can arrange their cards early for the start of next season.
West Virginia, on the other hand, want this game because no WVU team has ever won eight games in the Big 12. That is what the coach is telling them. Be the first to do it.
WVU's defensive strength is their passing defense, even with one of their top players out, so I see Bercovici somewhat dampened here. I also think Howard for West Virginia gets some deep balls behind the atrocious ASU pass defense.
Majority of the money in on ASU yet the line keeps moving against them.
Like I said, WVU or no play.

Leaning WVU myself - I watch a ton of PAC12, I just don't see Graham as a motivator to be able to get his troops in the right mindset.... WVU will roll.

I did well on WVU games this year, on and against them.... Don't have a ton of faith in them on the road/neutral site. Skyler Howard can hurt them with his legs.... it's always scary when he throws. ASU as erratic as they come too. Bercovici was a huge disappointment after how he looked in games last year filling in... mostly because he had no weapons on the outside. DJ Foster was not good adjusting to playing WR full time.
