Utah St QB Levi Williams played in this bowl when he played for Wyoming in 2021 and he was MVP they put up over 50 points
He also played against todays opponents Georgia St in the Arizona Bowl in 2019 and he blew them out then too
With Georgia St having lost 5 straight and missing their 1300 yard rusher, starting WR and starting OL and CB, Williams should be in a good position to win this bowl again and beat Ga St again, especially as Utah St is a good running team and Ga St is poor vs the run
Of course the way this bowl season is, there's no telling what teams will come out like. Teams with opt outs all over the place are still winning and good teams are coming out and laying eggs..you just never know but I do like this angle with the QB success so I'll take a little Utah St moneyline

You honestly think I don't consider this question? Both teams are 6-6 and Utah St actually has a weird 3 QB rotation and 2 of them are hurt, and hasn't beat anyone good. It wouldn't make sense for them to be heavy favorites, they barely made a bowl and needed an OT victory the last week to get in.
I'm surmising that the edge that throws things into the Aggies favor could be the QB they have healthy being the MVP of this bowl 2 years ago and beating Georgia St in another bowl - something that (unlike all the other info about opt outs and such) a lot of people might not be aware of as it's not in most of the preview articles for the bowl that I looked at.

Georgia State another team that lost a ton of players in the portal and coming out and dominating after being ruled an underdog. I think I’m going to just going to blind bet the teams that have lost the most players to the portal each game. Ohio, Duke, G State all faded for losing players, all won outright by double digits/winning currently. Sometimes when these young hungry players get a shot it’s better than having a “more experienced old crusty veteran” with one foot out the door.

Yeah plus for Ga St Grainger is actually really good one of the best Sun Belt QBs
I also seen this many times, a team that was good the first half of the year like Ga St that went 5-0 to start and then lost 5 in a row to end the year, after the few weeks off they often revert back to who they were at the start.
Might be good to remember for teams that were bad to start off too and won at the end perhaps they revert back to being bad.
I really thought I knew the Sun Belt but i picked App St (won and didn't cover) ODU (lost after leafing 28-0) Troy (played total opposite to how they usually do and had a virus)
I finally picked one right taking air force (always hard to win your first bowl and do it first try even harder)
Then I go right back to sucking picking Ga St looking at some stupid bowls from 2 years ago on a different team instead of going with Grainger.
The whole opt out thing is a scam
