Most people I know have been screaming all week about this game. The Buckeyes will destroy the Hawkeyes. As they should, but not this week. Kirk Ferentz will have his team up for this game, why not take Ohio State down for the upset of the week. Ohio State is the better team but Iowa's defense will keep it close in the end. Take the points as Ohio State could be looking ahead for next week and let Iowa get the cover.

I am on the other side, on the merits...GL on your other picks...
Granted, Iowa had a bye week to prepare for OSU...I think OSU is very hungry, well coached, and know they must focus on Iowa this week or else...I don't see a lookahead at all. This is OSU first reasonable challenge...Good weather is expected so that will help OSU's passing game. OSU has superior athletes at every position with the exception of linebacker, and even at that position, not far behind Iowa...The Hawkeyes are not playing in the friendly confines of Kinnick Stadium. Iowa will play tough for 1.5 quarters, and OSU will pull away in the 2nd half for a reasonable cover. I am not predicting a blowout...Iowa is a Top 25 team...But, with Texas and Alabama getting the glory recently, a strong win over a good Iowa Team will prep they for the challenge that awaits them at Auzen in Oregon next week...OSU wins and covers...Ohio State 38 Iowa 10...
