Is a Pinched Nerve severe for Colt McCoy to not return?

I don't know if a pinched nerve is severe enough to keep me out of a National Championship College Football game.  I don't know if it's really that severe, and I don't know if I would let that cost my team the game.

dont know,,had the shoulder pads off early,,if he wasnt fit to play suprised to see him in uniform on the sidelines

this was so sketchy. he really didn't seem hurt. guess dad didn't want the family's millions put in jeopardy 

I've had a pinched nerve in my lower back for about 10 years. It can be very annoying from time to time.

If you think the Sam Bradford injury didn't pass through the back of all their minds in that locker room, you are dreaming. 

I would bet money that it wasn't said, but folks in that room were thinking it. 

He could end his career and sacrifice his entire livelihood if he came back out on that field.

On the flip side, if it was only bruised or a pinch nerve, he should have SHOT THAT SHIT UP WITH SOME PAIN MEDS AND MAN UP. 

Wish they had a copy of the THE PROGRAM in that back room...throw that shit up on the projector and find a needle.  It's go time.

It was just a minor injury and he was in no pain but his arm/hand was numb. He could not have performed at a higher level than Gilbert in that condition.

 I'm sure that it killed Colt and his family that he was unable to play.

nothing to do with pain.  He was suited as it was unlikely but possible that it could have fixed itself at anytime.

I could think of other qb's that would of shot up and at least give it a shot - if you got out there and couldn't perform than have a seat but I'm surprised he didn't even make an attempt to get back in the game.

HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PAIN.......all about "functioning" of his ARM.......

try this .....stick your entire arm in a big bucket of ice water.......(until totally/even partially numb)......then try to throw a football.....say just 10-15 yds or so .....accurately.....then get back with us...

He couldn't feel his arm. How dumb are you? Man, this brutal with all these idiots bashing this kid. His entire life up to this point was all about getting to the National Championship and think you didn't want to play?
