Uva is getting a lot of love for a team that is still largely populated with kids who the Hoos "stole" from places like Western Kentucky, Marshall and Ohio U. Bronco has done a nice job, and the talent is trending in the right direction, but awfully hard to trust them as chalk in a building in which I don't think they've ever won.
I don't like BC or VPI this year. BC always seems to be a little better than they're supposed to be, but it might take longer than usual this year for them to be competitive. I think Tech covers the small number.
Cocks should roll UNC. Line there is confusing.
Buffs may go over posted total (57) themselves.
Rutgers -15.5 - funny line. UMass should be awful.
I like Wake -3.5. USU has to replace a ton.
Akron +17. I need a dog or two, even in Week One.
West Virginia -7? JMU isn't the JMU of 2 or 3 years ago.
Notre Dame -20. Should be ugly.

Double, you’re the best. Keep killing the EPL. Need to get some more big clubs back up in it. Good to see Villa back. Maybe Leeds will join them. Bournemouth and Watford are charming, but it’s really time for them to get back to the LC.
BW, nobody does weird quite as well as you do, except for Train, and me after a six-pack of Zima.
LH, always an honor. Best of luck this year.

Zima rocks! I used to have a lawn and would love pounding down a couple Zimas after mowing that mess of bluegrass, even as it was being swallowed by the creeping desert.
From your list, I bet the Gamecocks -7.0 a long time ago. Line movement suggests we're probably correct.
Glad to see you back Maine Road - I hope you crush it this season - and every season

Depends on the flavor of the codeine syrup that goes in. That said, I default to green apple.
Other stuff:
I'm gong to grab Air Force before it creeps over 20. Colgate lost a ton, and it really showed. Maybe Villanova is really good (and they did show up a couple of times last year), but I think that performance says more about 'Gate than it does the Cats.
Baylor -38 - SFA is basically retooling its whole program. That may work out as the year goes on, but this seems like an awful place to find out.
Maryland -29.5 - Terps will look to get what it can before its first seven quarterbacks get hurt (death, taxes, Terp QB in an walking boot). This is a better than usual Howard team, but that's not saying much.
Looking at Delaware -25.5 - I'm not particularly high on the Hens this year, and they tend not to play very well against the visitors from Dover, but Del State is about as bad as it gets. Should be ugly, but hoping that the Hornets don't get north of 10.
Aside from the revenge angle, I'm having a hard time making a case for UCLA. Bearcats don't have a lot of question marks, and the Bruins have tons. Line seems cheap for a team that always plays hard, doesn't beat itself, and is at home.

Looked like I was going to lose on Delaware because of three missed extra points. That would have been something different. Hornets scored a consolation TD that made that moot. Early indications are the Delaware isn't good. I'll be on Rhody next week.
Utah really impressed.
I feel for the USF over players, though you could see that coming. Hope some hedged at the half.
I blind tailed Alabama State +41 at UAB. Bammy State could have won. Got stuffed on three shots from the 1 mid-way through the 4th. Does that make the SWAC non-fade-on-site material for a change? Looking at Grambling at ULM tomorrow, though I think ULM might be sneaky mediocre this year.
UCLA on got 218 all night, but was still in the game; and, but for a couple of horrific turnovers, might have come out with a win. As an aside, Nippert is a really great venue when people are in it. I always pictured UC as being a dump, and XU being a beautiful, old, Gothic masterpiece. It's kind of the other way around, though Xavier isn't a dump; it's just boring.
