It’s Bama vs Clemson -4.5 in CFB championship IMO

Question

Notre Dame will get in and get slaughtered and maybe Oklahoma who has no defense. If Harbaugh ran an offense that wasn’t from the 80’s he would have a great team. LSU is a great story and has Bama at home but how can they score enough to beat them?

I agree with you that Bama and Clemson are the two best overall teams so far. If they played tomorrow I make the line at Tide -8.5.

On a side note, I notice you have not fired on anything yet this week. I too have been hesitant to pull the trigger this week. I think that says something in regards to the difficulty of this weeks slate.In addition, I fear I may have shot the bed in an early play due to circumstances changing. Seriously considering buying out of that game.

Bama would not be -17 vs Clemson or -29. That is lunacy. It would be -10 to -13. Somewhere in that range. The notion that bama is unbeatable is laughable. I hope Clemson plays bama and it is -17. If so, Vegas is giving away free money. The back end of the bama D will be their undoing. Nobody in the SEC has the firepower to exploit it.

There&#x27;s no defense that will be able to keep up with a Tua led offense. The crazy thing is to say a team has to score 40&#x2B; to even  have a shot but in reality if they did score 40&#x2B; that means Tua will probably play all 4 quarters ....final score 73-42! Good luck with that&#xA;All that being said they are one knee injury away from being "average". They are beatable without the lefty. Hurts is the same ol dude he&#x27;s always been and coming off ankle surgery. LSU better get to him early before he puts up 28 in the 1st quarter

3 teams have the potential to beat Bama.

LSU facing them at home.
Georgia facing them in the SEC Championship.
Clemson facing them in the playoffs.

Bama/Florida in the SEC Championship? Bama wins.
Bama/ND in the playoffs? Bama wins.
Bama/Michigan in the playoffs? Bama wins.
Bama/Oklahoma or Texas in the playoffs? Bama wins.

If Tua gets re-injured and can't play, everything changes and I think one of the 3 teams at the top - LSU, Georgia, Clemson - could beat Bama.

The reason I think LSU has a chance next week is Bama is not as physical as they have been in the past and LSU looks like the most physical team in the country. If the Tigers can run the ball and keep possession for 35 minutes and force Tua into a couple turnovers, anything is possible in Baton Rouge.
