I see a few things that I really like but they just look too damn easy. Every time that happens, I usually pay the piper. If I was a responsible, mature player who could go a whole weekend without any action then I'd sit this one out! That being said, I'm going to be irresponsible and stupid and most likely end up paying for it.
By the way: Is a push on a Over / Under a loss in Vegas? My local is telling me to rack it up as a loss. I told him I'd call MGM to show them they are full of it. (even though I wasn't sure) So is a Total Push a loss in Vegas?? We are still 'debating' it.
P.S. Good luck this week, everybody!

The Harrah's I bet at here in Nevada takes a push and bumps a parlay down to the next lower level. as far as I know a push is not a loss. However not working in sportsbook, I could not tell for sure.

Straight wagers on totals that are a number w/o a hook and lands right on it is considered a push in Vegas. Example; o/u 43. Final score 23-20 = a push. GL

I know what a push is. My local is just saying a push on a Total is a loss, which I have never heard. I had 44 on the Duke / N'western game and it hit on 44. That should be a push....no play, money returned. They tell me tonight that it's a loss. I told them I'd call up MGM or whatever sportsbook in Vegas that they'd choose, just to let them know that it's a push and not a loss. Naturally, they come back with "Well, this is not Vegas." Hmmmmm. I can only wonder if they came up with that 'rule' after they realized they owe me a nice amount of money?? I'm still negotiating with them since they won't call it a push, like they should be doing.

Push is a pus is a push and no money lost or gained. Unless they have it written somewhere that their policy is a push is a loss, then you got a good beef. Leroy's here in Nevada did that shit to me years ago and I stopped using them. I think they have since changed the way they do business, but I like betting at Harrah's better.

Well, I'm working on my 2nd college degree that will allow me to move basically anywhere in the U.S. It's a definite possibility that Vegas could be one of those places since I love it there. Until then, I'm stuck with locals most of the time. These guys did not say anything about a Total push being a loss, which is my huge beef with them. I told them that they need to let this one slide since they didn't give out their rules and I'd oblige by it from here on out. It's not going to make me or break me, but it will cover my car insurance payment and most of my student loan payment from the 1st time around in college!

Hawaii has the worst rules in the NATION! +20 juice, no buying of the hooks, push on totals = loss,
ALL local houses use sportsandodds.com for lines. You think Push on totals = loss is bad.....it gets worse.
Whatever the line on sportsandodds.com closes at during kickoff is the LINE!
e.g. Locked in USC -8....the line closes at -12 due to line change before it closes. USC wins the game by 10 you lose! Your early lean is pointless thus the house wins. Sometimes it can back fire in the dogs favor but this is the shit we locals have to deal with.
Not to mention you must pay on tuesday or 5 samoans will be at your doorstep come wednesday.
