This game has the "potential" to go either way but I don't think you can say the wrong team is favored in this game. Clemson will be the #1 team after tonight's playoff committee selection again so on a neutral site the #1 team in the nation will always be the favorite. At the beginning of the season I don't think this line would have EVER been below a TD so I think the value will be taking Clemson. Yes, NC is playing some of the best offensive football in the nation right now but how many primetime games have they played this year? I believe they only played 2 this year and they lost one of them to South Carolina. Only other one being a game against Pitt on a week night, I think? Yes, different part of the season and "different team" but Clemson has been tested a lot more this year and clearly has had the tougher opponents. Clemson caught their toughest test, ND, at a great point of the season and in bad weather and also caught their second toughest test, Florida St, at home during some QB controversy so that's why you can argue NC has a chance. But, Clemson is most likely the better team and the favorite here IMO.

I always hate when people bring up Time slots, as if it's a measure of power. I believe last year Ohio State had 1 prime time game prior to playing Alabama.
It's a complete non-factor. It's like saying winning team players have 75% black hair, this team doesn't so they're not good.
