Surprised to see that big of number Bama -13.5. Id expect this line to be around 10 at gametime. In my opinion this is LSU best shot to take them down in years. I think they have on chance on the field.

I am not sure why you think LSU has a shot? Their QB is horrible, they do not have a running game worth mentioning, the Alabama defense will be the best they have faced all season. None of that matters as long as one of the best QBs in the history of the game is at QB

Yeah LSU doesnt have a shot at home lol sorry im blinded by your Bama avatar haha Burrow is easily the best QB they have had in years no he isnt a pro player but hes capable. Agreed on the LSU running game but they can never run on Bama anyway when they had great RBs. Yes Tua is a legend but first tough real tough road game I wouldnt be surprised if LSU pulls something off here, if this was in Bama I would agree Bama in a blowout

Got LSU at 14 when it first came out. I'll be damned if I dont take a top 5 to 10 team in the country plus 14 at home.

As an LSU grad as well as a realist, Bama should win the game. However, it is worth noting this will be without question the first time this season Bama lines up against athletes similar to their own.....should be interesting.

I am not even referring to rankings, I believe LSU is easily one of the best 10 teams in the country. They've played some tough games and really could still be undefeated but lost a toss up at FL.

LMAO. Guy has played half a season against a weak schedule and you are claiming he's the best QB in the history of the game??

LSU has played 4 top 10 teams this season to date, Alabama will be number 5... normally that means something here

However, of those first 4 only one team remains in the top 10 (Georgia), and Florida was ranked outside the top 10 when they played LSU... Auburn and Miami are both out of top 25

I'll make the case though regardless, that strength of schedule is a huge factor in this, especially with what seems like a cupcake schedule every year for Bama 

The biggest worry I find is most people are projecting that because Tua hasn't played a full game that adds value to the Tigers... it doesn't. He hasn't played a full game because his offense averages 30+ in the first half... still not convinced

The defensive heart and soul of the Tigers Devin White is out for the first half... will be full of piss and vinegar come second half for sure... but it doesn't matter if your team is down by 17-21 by then

Hell I'm not saying LSU doesn't have a shot here, they most likely will be the toughest team Bama has faced this season, and will give everything they have come Saturday

I know that they will play with heart and will play all out, but as a betting man, this might as well be Missouri cause the Tigers will have to SHOW ME they can win against arguably the best Bama team in years... Take the Points

Anyone who thinks LSU has a punchers chance in this game to even cover the spread has either not watched Alabama this year...

Or they love the crack pipe...

No matter, the absolute best play in this game is the 1H wager.  With Devin White out, any chance LSU has of holding Bama down is just gone ...POOF!

Full game is very solid as well...

Don't overthink this one...there is Alabama...then there is the rest of the teams...they are on another level...

I, for one, am very interested to see if Tua plays the 4th quarter even if they are up by 21....

I have a feeling Saban will be wanting to make a statement vs LSU as some thing they will be "competition"...this is his chance to clearly explain there is no "competition".

Alabama points per play in first half, when all starters are in is over 1.00 on the road. This figure Oklahoma’s is 8.57 at home.

Alabama staters play whole game, they will score 40 plus..

Can LSU score 27? Alabama has dominated LSU defensively last few year,s

I think -14 is a gift, thought it would be -21 would have taken that i see it 45-10

I am not the only one claiming that... Forner Super bowl champs, hall of Famers, Heisman trophy winners. It's not about who Bama has played, it is how bad they beat them. Look at his numbers, and just watch his highlights, his accuracy and ability to hit players in stride is unlike anything I have seen.

I agree Tua is a savage, im just saying dont forget these are college kids and this will easily be bamas toughest game of the year, if this was in bama or neutral field Tide probably wins by 20+ easily. I just think this will be another grind bama/lsu game

They have to set this line at 14 for hopes of even money thats where the value on LSU comes in. Books know if they were to set bama -7 they would have way to much risk on bama. Idc how good Tua is or bama 14 at home vs a great LSU D especially secondary is too much to pass on.

No such thing with bama anymore. They're basically a souped up Big12 team now with an above average defense. Local won't budge on -15...they should cover that but rather have 14 or lesspeace_5 bama and it won't be close long as the southpaw plays

The best thing is we are going to find out. Geaux tigers Bama is getting exposed this weekend this Lsu team is ready, and dont let it be close at half when the best player on the field also has the freshest legs.$$$$$$$$$ Lsu +13.5

 Just saying if Bama does roll sell your car and put it on them to win the natty

Everyone seems focused on Alabama's offense vs LSU's defense.  I believe the real discrepancy between these teams rests on the other side of the ball.  LSU's qb will have to make plays for LSU to cover.  I'm not convinces that he can.  Burrow has been sacked 16 times this season and Alabama's pass rush the last two games has really come to life.   17 points is the upper end of LSU's potential in my opinion.  This means that LSU must hold Alabama to less than 31.  I don't see it happening.
