Don't get me wrong, they can easihits core over 100 points. However, how many times this season did Baylor or TT went north of 85?
Two years ago almost every posted total of 77, 80, etc would not only go over but sail past with a breeze.
Now it seems that books want you to overthink the large number.
Seems that whenever a team (or both) have something big to play for, they play a bit more conservative and methodical.
Under RG3 Baylor was no where near being Big 12 contenders. This season they actually have a defense, are undefeated and have a shot at being in the NC game. A very minuscule one but it is there.
A score if 49-34 is an UNDER!!! A score of 44-40 is an UNDER!!! A score of 52-31 is... You guessed it, UNDER!
Really? Does Baylor really allow over 30 points? And if they do, do they really score 56 on Texas Tech?
An over would not surprise me one bit. In fact if I had to bet I'd bet over. It'll either sail past 100 points early in the 4th, or it will barely sniff 60. All depending on what the teams/coaches feel.

Here is food for thought......last night's gm hit 75 and had 10 pts after one quarter. In the 2nd half each team ran it more than they passed and tripped over 34 pts.
there could be 700+ yds passing at halftime.
I see a 37-17 gm at the half.

I wouldn't either. But look what happened against OU. Game was a bigger shitfest than a Steelers vs Ravens playoff match in the rain during a wind storm.

Here is more food for thought: buff toledo had 14 pts after one q....28 after two q....finished with 92 on the board.
team total will be 55 and 28 for both teams. That means 28-14 at the half. Like the astute poster above pointed out they could have 30+ after 1q.
For what it is worth I am not bad at cfb.....going 10-2 just last night alone......I am teasing baylor and over in 13 pt teaser and am playing 1h over and team totals both halves and game.
58-31

Ace....baylor could have 31-37 pts at the half alone. Texas Tech avgs 400 yds passing....they will put up way mord than Oklahoma. Tex tech has NO CHOICE but to be in a shootout. Kstate scored 49 quite easily.....dont see why baylor can't score 10 more. Look at what west vir did in the 2nd half to baylor against 2nd string. Did baylor let up against iowa st 2nd half? no...they were ran out of building. Texas tech will allow long and quick scores. Baylor can run the ball 45 times and still put up 50+

Texas Tech passes the ball about 80% of the time. This means they are either moving down field or stopping the clock due to incompletions. If they don't move the ball and are stopping the clock, Baylor gets more plays. If you don't think Baylor can be up 49-14 at the half, you haven't been paying attention.
The only chance this game has at going under is if you get a redzone turnover or two that takes points off the board and causes a team to drive 90 plus yards.
