On Saturday September 29th,
I was looking to make a deposit into a sports book to bet on some sports and play some casino games. I was new to offshore betting so I was looking around at all the possible options and came across BETUS. It looked like a solid book and had the Credit Card Deposit option. So I did some calling around and had them set up an account over the phone. Everything was going well and then they asked for my credit card information. I gave them the number and they paused for about 30 seconds. They came back and said, Were sorry we can not deposit money into your account since you are a Canadian Resident. This came as a total shock to me as no where have I red being from Canada means you are unable to gamble in offshore books. I said, now that you have my information you can take all the money you want. They said that’s not the case and hung up.
Monday October 3rd,
As soon as I woke up on Monday I called my credit card balance center, I paid off $500 on Friday to deposit and sure enough Monday morning there was a $500 withdraw from my Credit Card. I phoned BETUS in a rage and asked to speak to the assistant I was speaking too earlier. I was connected with Rita who said she did not take money off the card. She connected me to her Supervisor who said it will take 3-6 business days to withdraw the money from the account and apologized for what happened.
They still would not tell me why they took money off the card even after I cancelled the deposit and it was ILLEGAL TO GAMBLE IN CANADA!
Wednesday October 10th
Today was officially 6 business days and there was no money on my card. I called back to BETUS and told them what happened and wanted an explanation to the whereabouts of my cash that was taking from my account against my will. There answer was,
"Were sorry, we are unable to withdraw your funds to your credit card, The money will remain in your account. Please feel free to wager in our sports book and casino."
This is when I lost it, They stole my money, they put the money in an account that was ILLEGAL TO SET UP and are trying to persuade me to GAMBLE ILLEGALLY. I asked to speak to the manager when this Rita bafoon character told me, there is nothing I can do, good day sir.
This happened at 9:40pm EST time, its now 10:11pm EST and I’m very seriously considering phoning back and hanging up to the BetUS call center until I get an answer.
Never bet at this sportsbook, you will never see your money again.
They stole $500 from me and that is not right. What do you guys recommend to do if anything.
